The result didn't come as a suprise to people when the period drama "Hong Gil Dong" were voted by the majority of viewers to be the best television drama of the week.

Although rating of Hong Gil Dong doesn't increase at all, but it has made a huge impact in attracting young viewers.

The reason Hong Gil Dong's rating doesn't increase is due to the fact that its rival (New Heart) over MBC is too strong. In general, dramas about medicine always attract Korean viewers, especially those viewers over 30 years old age range

Hong Gil Dong is favoured by the youth audience because of its fascinating content, especially the excellence incarnation of the main actors and actresses. Although being the second male lead in this drama, Jang Geun Suk himself has been excellent in portraying his character and has attracted countless number of female fans through his performance

Although "New Heart" has always held the Number 1 drama position on Wednesday and Thusday's evenings, but that in itself was the problem. Nowaday, Korean television's dramas have a general rule, whenever a drama is very popular, which translates into high rating, then it is automatically being drawn out for several more episodes. "New heart" also added 4 more episodes to the drama. So the last part of the drama was not as intense as in the begining, and a few of the extra details on the supporting casts had became redundant. It's easy to understand how the drama "New Heart" lost its number 1 ranking spot to the drama "Hong Gil Dong".

The KSB weekend's drama "Mom Has Grown Horns", which has just broadcasted, achieved the high rating of 25%, and approaching the targeted 30%. Because of its interesting plot about family life, along with many familiar actors and actresses, it is easy to understand why this drama is so popular.

In the afternoon of March 6, actors Jae Hee, Jo Hyun Jae, Shin Sung Rok and actress Eugene have taken part in photographing to propagandize for new KBS's drama One Mom And Tree Dads.

In the drama, Eugene plays a young mother who lost her husband in a traffic accident. Three men who gave sperm have become the reluctant fathers of the baby.

One Mom And Tree Dads will be broadcasted on Wednesday and Thursday evening from March 26.

Drama Hong Gil Dong of KBS2 is one of the most favorite dramas at the moment.
