Trus....wkt awal2 bgt sih WJ blm kerja di MBS (kan awalnya dia fotografer, trus ada kab scene yg WJ ngasih murid privatnya ke YM krn wkt itu WJ mo ikut ujian jd kameramen===>YM msh baru2 kuliah). Jadi...kesimpulan gue, WJ udah kerja duluan di MBS.
Trus..klo soal HC ngajakin WJ kerja sama itu, gue rasa maksudnya tuh ngajak WJ kerja sama di "Morning Of Eve" deh.

cruiser, lu masi inget scene yg SM telp HC ga trus HC buru2 dtg ke rumah SM ampe ninggalin mobilnya di tengah jalan trus lari buru2 ke rmh SM. Entah gua yg ngaco sala nangkep or emang ngaco diterjemahinnya, soalnya gua nangkepnya SM telp HC bilang kalo bentar lagi (kalo ga sala nelponnya almost 12 midnite) adalah peringatan 1 taon ketemuannya mereka (someone car ran over me).

SUN MI'S HOUSE

Gyu Sung: (straightens Sun Mi's dress) Today is your first day of work. How do you feel?

Sun Mi: (smiling) Um....I have mixed feelings. I am excited and nervous, Daddy.

Gyu Sung: You're going to do fine, my Sun Mi. Mmm...Your my daughter.

Sun Mi: That's right. I'm your daughter. Jahm Shil Bong's tiger principal's only daughter, Jin Sun Mi.

Gyu Sung: (he pinches Sun Mi's cheeks) Oh, you little rascal. (Gyu Sung's face turns serious) At work, be honest and respectful. Respect your boss and co-workers the same way you respect your parents and teachers. Do this and everything will be fine.

Sun Mi: (she quietly smiles) Yes, daddy. I'll keep that in mind.

Gyu Sung: Go and just be Sun Mi, my daughter. The man you are going to be secretary for is a lucky man. Ha Ha Ha.

Sun Mi: I wonder about our TV station Director and I am nervous. What do I do if he is a fussy person with a big stomach and bald head?

CROWDED SUBWAY
(Sun Mi is in a crowded subway and her body keeps being pushed around. She is uncomfortable and is trying not to fall down. She is holding to a hand rail and her hands her starting to sweat.)

Woo Jin: (sees Sun Mi and notices that she is uncomfortable and offers her his seat) Sit down here, please.

Sun Mi: (she wants to sit but doesn't) No, I'm alright.

Woo Jin: (he gets up from his seat, and makes her sit down)

Sun Mi: I...I'm fine. (her face flushes, she feels bad for taking his seat but is thankful)

Woo Jin: (looks at Sun Mi, and smiles nicely)

Sun Mi: Thank you. (gives Woo Jin a bright smile)

Woo Jin: (he is stunned by her smile and temporarily forgets where he is at)


FRONT OF TV STATION

Woo Jin: I think we are destined for each other. We work at the same station and it is both of our first days at work.

Sun Mi: Sure is. And if it weren't for you (looking at her dress) my dress would have been wrinkled and I would have lost some buttons.

Woo Jin: Then you should thank me.

Sun Mi: (pauses, then nods her head) Yes, thank you very much.

Woo Jin: In the future, when we meet again, we will not be strangers. To thank me for today you can buy me coffee later.

Sun Mi: Ha Ha (sentimental smile). Is that all you want?

Woo Jin: (laughs and thinks that working at this tv station is going to be fun)

Sun Mi: (she looks at her watch) Oh, we better be going or we will be late for our first day.

Woo Jin: Should we run?

Sun Mi: Yes, we have to.
(they runs into the tv station lobby, they look around this new world of challenges and ambition)


SECRETARY ROOM

Sun Mi: (very sits tensely in her chair)

Mr. Lee: (sees how tense Sun Mi is and think that this is cute) Don't be nervous Miss Jin Sun Mi, relax...uhhhh.

Sun Mi: (she forces a smile onto her face) Y.Y..Yes

Mr. Lee: Our Director is very open-minded. There is nothing to worry about. You are luck that you don't have to work for the manager, Mr. Kim, who is very critical.

Sun Mi: What kind of person is the Director? I don't know anything about him, and don't know how to prepare. What is his style of working? What kind of coffee does he like?

Mr. Kim: Oh, the previous secretary left urgently. There is no real time to explain. Oh, I would say that our Director is.....(Sun Mi thought that this was going to be long story)

(Suddenly the door opens and a very dignified man enter, Hyun Chul, holding his briefcase. Sun Mi thinks that he is so handsome that he probably makes everyone's head turn wherever he goes. He looks like a smart young businessman)

Sun Mi: (she is stunned by Hyun Chul's look)

Mr. Lee: (he bends over at 90degree angle to bow) How are you Mr. Director?

Hun Chul: (He doesn't even look around but heads straight for his office) England BBC is going to be sending me an important Fax, check to see if the fax has come. I need one cup of strong coffee. (he disappears into his office)

Mr. Lee: (sees Sun Mi just standing there still stunned) What are you doing Jin Sun Mi?

Sun Mi: Y..Y..Yes??????

Mr. Lee: The Director asked you for strong coffee.

Sun Mi: Oh, yes. (she still has a perplexed look on her face)


SOON AFTER...

Sun Mi: (breathes deeply, and holds the coffee carefully to prevent spilling, she knocks on the Director's door)

Hyun Chul: (he is looking through papers on his desk, he doesn't acknowledge that Sun Mi is there)

Sun Mi: (stands close to him, and carefully places the coffee on his desk, her hands and heart are shaking a little)

Hyun Chul: (his head still looking down at his desk) Thank you.

Sun Mi: Uh..Hi, Mr. Director

CHAPTER 2 "LOVELY YOU"

DIRECTOR'S ROOM
(Hyun Chul and Sun Mi's eyes meet as they gaze vacatly at each other)

Sun Mi: I started working today. I am your new secretary, Jin Sun Mi.

Hyun Chul: Ah...(only then does he undersatnd the circumstances) Of course. (he gets up from his seat and thrusts out his hand) I'm Yun Hyun Chul. How are you? Welcome to the future.

Sun Mi: (a little hesitate, but she shakes Hyun Chul's hand) Yes, thank you. I will do my best. I am going to work very hard.

Hyun Chul: (he sees how Sun Mi has pure passion, and that she looks a little frigtened, her cheeks have glow. Hyun Chul feels Sun Mi's lovely sweetness) A secretary who makes good coffee and only smiles is of no use to me. I need a secretary who can catch my mistakes and help me correct them. And if without this type of secretary my whole day could be ruined.

Sun Mi: (her facial expression becomes more tense)

Hyun Chul: Do you understand what I am saying?

Sun Mi: Yes!!

Hyun Chul: (with a light smile he sits back down in his chair) So far we are not used to each other, we need time to get to know each other. There is no need to rush, let us do this slowly.

Sun Mi: Yes!!

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi's tense looks make Hyun Chul feel distressed) Also, if you ever have any concerns or questions, remember that my door will be open anytime. Don't forget that.

Sun Mi: Yes!! (for a short time she stands at attention, suddenly her mind wakes up and bows, she turns around to leave)

Hyun Chul: Ah...also...

Sun Mi: (she quickly turns around) Yes, Mr. Director!!

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi's look almost makes Hyun Chul laugh) I almost forgot. I work late. What this means is that I leave the office very late. In case you try to read my mind about when I will leave the office, don't. You are to be on time coming and leaving this office. Unless, I specifically ask you.

Sun Mi: Yes!!

Hyun Chul: (he nods his head to signal that she can leave)

Sun Mi: (once again, she bows and quickly turns around to leave)

Hyun Chul: (to Sun Mi's back as she is leaving) Today, the coffee has an especially nice smell.


SECRETARY ROOM
(Sun Mi closes Hyun Chul's door behind her. She is not as tense but is still stunned by her conversation with Hyun Chul. She doesn't even remember what she said or heard. She can hear heart beating quickly)


CAFETERIA- LUNCH TIME
(managers Mr. Kim's secretary, Su Jin, and Sun Mi go to luch together)

Su Jin: Was today a very tough day for you?

Sun Mi: Yes...I can't remember anything. If I made a mistake what do I do?

Su Jin: That's they way to become accustomed to doing you job. Also, if you make a mistake now, everybody will see it as flirty.

Sun Mi: (she quietly smiles and eats hot soup)

Su Jin: Anyhow, Miss Sun Mi, do you know about this?

Sun Mi: (looking at Su Jin)

Su Jin: When the previous secretary, Lee Mi Jang, left every secretary here wanted to go work for Director Yun. (she smiles) Even I want to.

Sun Mi: Why??

Su Jin: Oh, Miss Sun Mi. Didn't you see Mr. Director this morning?

Sun Mi: Of course, I saw him, but.....

Su Jin: Are you blind? He is drop dead gorgeous. He is the oldest son of the Moon Young Group and a bachelor. Do you still not understand what I am saying?

Sun Mi: Ah..(thinking to herself, she even thought that he was very attractive) Maybe, everybody doesn't know whether he has a secret girlfriend.

Su Jin: That doesn't matter, I envy you Miss Sun Mi. (suddenly in thought) Manager Mr. Kim is really bad, when I think about him I can't even eat. He is not respectful, but I hope he is at least not disagreeable.

Sun Mi: Something wrong?

Su Jin: Don't say anything. He comes to work later than everybody else and leaves earlier that anybody. When he works, he is never in his office. He goes to sauna and golf. Sometimes when I have to go and look for him I have to make myself feel like a monk.

Sun Mi: (she smiles quietly. Sun Mi sees Sun Dahl and Ju Hee are walking towards them carrying lunch trays) Miss Su Jin, there are the people from the 7 O'clock newscast.

Su Jin: Ah...Kim senior and Yu senior.

Sun Mi: Do you know them?

Su Jin: Yes. Announcer Yu Ju Hee, is my school senior. Also, another piece of information, announcer Kim Sun Dahl is senior Yu's boyfriend. Isn't it marvelous?

Sun Mi: (she thinks this news is very interesting) The two are associated with each other.

Su Jin: (bows her head) Mmmm, ya.....Hi, Senior!!!

SOON AFTER

Sun Mi: (she has only seen Sun Dahl and Ju Hee on tv. seeing them in person felt marvelous)

Sun Dahl: So, Miss Jin Sun Mi is Hyu Chul's...I mean Mr. Director's new secretary?

Sun Mi: Yes...

Sun Dahl: Oh boy. Mr. Director is going to be happy. He has such a beautiful lady coming to work as his secretary.

Ju Hee: (she elbows Sun Dahl in the chest and gives him a look for him to act like a gentleman. she turns to look at Sun Mi) Kim senior is Mr Director's school senior too.

Sun Dahl: Me and Hyun Chul are like brothers.

Sun Mi: Oh, really.

Ju Hee: Director Yun is a reasonable and honorable man. You can learn a lot from him. This station has many honorable men. But, congratulations to you that you get to work with Director Yun.

Sun Mi: (After hearing Su Jin and Ju Hee talking, she thought she had a very good boss)

Sun Dahl: But Director Yun does not only have good qualities.. not everything is good.

Su Jin: What do you mean, senior?

Sun Dahl: He is extrememly stubborn. (Sun Dahl looks at Ju Hee) Announcers have to speak good. Sometimes his stubbornness is so strong…Once in a while he tries so hard to show his stubbornness to everyone… Anyhow, once something made him so upset that he started pouting…Not even only that… Sometimes when somethings is not that important, he still will give all of energy to fix… somewhere in the corner of his heart is very narrow minded too…Director Yun is politely critical… you are going to have a hard time with his attitude and stubbornness, …

Sun Mi: (she is becoming more and more tense)

Sun Dahl: (he watches Sun Mi’s face become tense, but he is having too much fun so he continues) Even sometimes he has tantrums, I heard that once in a while in the middle of a meeting he tried to throw things

Ju Hee: Stop, senior…today is her first day, are you trying to make her scared?..

Sun Dahl: Somethings she needs to know, that way she will be better prepared for him. That way later on when it happens, she will not be so lost. Don’t you think so, Miss Jin Sun Mi?

Sun Mi: (different to how she feels in her heart, she barely smiles)

Ju Hee: Senior Mr. Kim is just playing, so don’t pay so much attention…

Sun Mi: (this way that way, she has heard many different stories about Hyun Chul. But she decides to not believe anything the others have told her, she wants to see him for herself…but, on the other hand, that could be pretty good information too. )

Hyun Chul: (he finished lunch and is walking through the door)

Sun Mi: (she quickly gets up from her seat)

Hyun Chul: (he passes Sun Mi and suddenly stops) You do not need to stand-up every time I pass by you…

Sun Mi: Oh, I am….I will keep that in mind.

Hyun Chul: ………..Did you eat lunch?

Sun Mi: Yes, Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: (once more he looks at Sun Mi, and then he goes inside his office)


BAR

Sun Dahl: Lately, you are very busy. Every time you make an excuse.

Hyun Chul: (he is tired and rubs his eyes) the BBC children program contract some how has kept me busy.

Sun Dahl: Each time take a little a break…your young age is very important. Why do you waste your age so much?

Hyun Chul: Young age is important, that is why I work hard at this time…. Any how when I look at you, you always cleverly make things go your way…You have a talent for clever translation…

Hyun Chul: (he looks at Sun Dahl with a look of hopelessness)

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi puts coffee on his desk and turns and leaves the office)…..Oh, Miss Jin Sun Mi

Sun Mi: Yes!

Hyun Chul: Day after day, it is important that you follow my instructions when you work. Just a little while ago I gave you email, so check your email. Any kind of questions you have, you can ask me.

Sun Mi: Yes. I will Mr. Director.


SECRETARY ROOM

Sun Mi: (she hurries to her chair, and moves the mouse on the computer to open her email…she is a little tense, but looks at the screen intensely…she read Hyun Chul’s mail)
………………..”12:30 Shin La Hotel, lunch appointment”
(Sun Mi carefully checks the email….the last email she finished reading)
This is the last one.
(at that time….at the bottom of the email she saw another line of writing)

…………………“P.S. inside the tv station…somebody tried to spread gossip about me, you better try not to listen to what those people had to say…also, I beg you to stay away from them.”
(Sun Mi smiles, she openly laughs….she looks at the directors office…and thinks…yesterday, what Mr. Sun Dahl spoke about must be true)

LOVELY YOU” Chapter 3

CAFETERIA

Sun Dahl: (today, he sits in front of Sun Mi again and begins to talk about Hyun Chul. His excuse is that he is giving her sauce, but he just enjoys talking about Hyun Chul. He enjoyed it so much that he doesn’t even notice the time that has passed.)

Sun Mi: (The first time she listened to Sun Dahl talk she was half tense and half not paying attention. Now, she doesn’t know why but she can’t wait to hear Sun Dahl’s stories. Sun Dahl point is to tell stories to pick on Hyun Chul but Sun Mi listens because she wants to know more about Hyun Chul. Sun Dahl’s stories already make her heart kind of flutter for Hyun Chul)

Sun Dahl: That time you should have seen Director Yun’s face……His face was as red as can be…….He didn’t know what to say……..He tried to be as calm as he could…….Even when I think about that time, I want to laugh.

Sun Mi: (covers her mouth to hide her laughter, but she couldn’t hide her laughing)

Ju Hee: (she laughs too, but she looks at Sun Dahl in disapproval) That is enough talk for now. Let’s eat.

Sun Dahl: Alright……Oh, I sure have to quit talking now. (he points in a direction with his eyes)

(Sun Mi and Ju Hee turn around and look in the direction of Sun Dahl’s eyes…

(They can see Hyun Chul is caring a lunch tray and walking toward their table)

Sun Dahl: (He leans over to Sun Mi) Remember what I said, Director Yun is determined when it comes to small things…He knows I am talking to Miss Sun Mi and now he has come to check on me.

Sun Mi: (she puts her face down and laughs)

Hyun Chul: (he sits down next to Sun Dahl) May I sit down here, Mr. Kim Sun Dahl?

Sun Dahl: Oh, yes Mr. Director……But, what are doing here in this kind of humble place?

Hyun Chul: (He gives Sun Dahl an unfriendly look) What do mean “humble” place? The chef works hard in preparing good meals for all of MBS employees. If the chef heard what you said, he would be very disappointed. Don’t you think so?

Sun Dahl: (He doesn’t know what to say)

Hyun Chul: That is why from now on, I think that I am going to come here to eat lunch every day.

Sun Dahl: (he coughs) Ah...Um….

Hyun Chul: (looks at Sun Mi and Ju Hee) Enjoy this meal. Eat as much as you want.

Ju Hee: Yes, Mr. Director, you too. (she looks at Sun Dahl in a “I told you so” manner)

Sun Mi: (She is a little disappointed that she can’t hear any more of Sun Dahl’s funny stories. But having Hyun Chul sitting in front of her, her heart begins to flutter a little.)


MBS BREAKROOM

(vending machine)

Young Mi: (she gives Woo Jin coffee) Thank you for your hard work.

Woo Jin: Thank you for the coffee.

Young Mi: When I go out and am standing in front of your camera, I am most happy. Do you know why?

Woo Jin: (he shrugs his shoulders)

Young Mi: You make me look pretty. Better than any other cameraman I have worked with. I think that in front of your camera, my face shines.

Woo Jin: (He almost spits his coffee out; but, so that Young Mi doesn’t see he turns his head, and laughs)

Young Mi: Oh, I want to know something about you. Can I ask you something?

Woo Jin: What do you want to know?

Young Mi: You have talent, so I don’t think you flunked three years. But, how is it that you came so late to work at this tv station?

Woo Jin: Well, … that time was not my time to work at this place.

Young Mi: Oh, anyhow…

(Sun Mi walk into the breakroom holding important work papers in one hand)

Woo Jin: (suddenly his face turns bright) Miss Sun Mi!!!!!

Sun Mi: (she too gets a smile) Mr. Woo Jin!!!!!

Woo Jin: (walks to the vending machine) Do you want some coffee?

Young Mi: (she looks Sun Mi over)

Sun Mi: Mr. Woo Jin, have you already forgot? I already promised to buy you coffee.

Woo Jin: Next time……That way I can have an excuse to meet you again Miss Sun Mi.

Young Mi: (she is a little upset, and looks at them coldly) Ah…um…

Sun Mi: (turns to look at Young Mi) Hi, how are you Miss Huh Young Mi?

Young Mi: (she blindly looks at Sun Mi) How are you?……(she looks at Woo Jin) I am leaving first Mr. Kim Woo Jin……(she coldly walks out of the breakroom)

Sun Mi: (she smiles at Young Mi’s attitude, she saw it as cute)

Woo Jin: (he gives coffee to Sun Mi) Thank you Miss Sun Mi.

Sun Mi: Huh????

Woo Jin: For a little while you were just like my savior, Miss Sun Mi.

Sun Mi: (she knew what he was saying) But every time I see Miss Young Mi I want to smile.

Woo Jin: Huh? …You do?……Every time I am with Miss Young Mi I feel like I want to get away from her as fast as possible.

Sun Mi: (smiles) By the way, every time you buy me coffee. Next time, make sure that you give me a chance to buy you coffee.

Woo Jin: I don’t know why, but I don’t want to. I want to make you feel so sorry, so you will feel like you owe me big.

Sun Mi: Huh???? (she smiles)

Woo Jin: (he too smiles, with his eyes he starts to flirt with Sun Mi)

(Hyun Chul was talking to employees in the Planning Department, he walks by Sun Mi and sees her and Woo Jin standing together and smiling at each other. Hyun Chul saw them but acted like he didn’t see them, he walks past tryinh to ignore them. But, he turns aroud and looks at Sun Mi one more time with curious eyes.)


SECRETARY ROOM

Sun Mi: (she is just about to sit down, when her office phone rings. She answers) Yes, Mr. Director…

Hyun Chul: Come in here for a minute please.


DIRECTOR’S ROOM

Sun Mi: (she enter the Director’s office, and stands in front of his desk) You called me Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: (he was looking down at his paper, then looks up at Sun Mi. He gives her a blank look and didn’t know what to say)

Sun Mi: ??????

Hyun Chul: (he puts his face down and starts rummaging through his papers quickly) Can you get me some coffee please?

Sun Mi: Yes!?!

Hyun Chul: (he keeps going through his papers, he looks at Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: Yes, Mr. Diector I will get you some coffee….(she bows her head, and turns to leave the room)


MBS HALLWAY

Young Mi: (she has a dreamy look on her face) Senior, don’t you think that Director Yun is very handsome? He has big nice eyes. And when he speaks, everyone tries to listen.

Ju Hee: (thinking to herself that here they go again, wondering how long Young Mi will talk this time) The whole world knows that Director Yun is handsome. That’s enough talk about that, huh?

Young Mi: Today, during the meeting every time that his eyes met mine he smiled at me.

Ju Hee: (she looks at Young Mi wondering if anyone else was listening to this)

Young Mi: Senior, what can I do if Director Yun thinks of me differently from other women?

Ju Hee: (she doesn’t even know that she sighs)

Young Mi: Every time, I am in front of him my whole heart is open. Really, really I don’t know what to do. I get more nervous in front of him then in front of the camera.

Ju Hee: (mumbles to herself) Ay….it’s a mystery how you ever passed to become an announcer. (Oh, you must have became an announcer by parachute. Your major doesn’t seem to have been announcing but rather comedy.)


THAT NIGHT, LEAVING WORK TIME, DIRECTOR”S ROOM

Sun Mi: Mr. Director, do need anything else from me?

Hyun Chul: (he looks at the papers on his desk and doesn’t answer)

Sun Mi: Then……I am going to go ahead and go home…….(she opens the door to leave)

Hyun Chul: Miss Jin Sun Mi!!!!!

Sun Mi: Yes!!

Hyun Chul: (he doesn’t even look up at Sun Mi and hands her one paper) Can you copy this for me?

Sun Mi: (she is a little confused) Yes, I can make a copy.

(Today, he asked for one coffee at lunch, and now to copy just one paper at the end of the day, is a little too much thought Sun Mi. She thought that high society has had a negative effect on some of his behavior. She tries to comfort herself and tells herself that she will be okay. Then she remembers what Sun Dahl said about Hyun Chul being stubborn……she tells herself again that it is okay……it is okay, I can handle this.)

DIRECTOR"S ROOM

A little early in the morning. Sun Mi organizes the disorderly papers on top of Hyun Chul's desk. Suddenly, Sun Mi's eyes catch a small photograph in the corner of Hyun Chul's desk. The photograph is of Hyun Chul performing with a bass guiter; he has long hair, he is soaked with sweat on his face, and his eyes are tightly closed. Sun Mi can see how Hyun Chul is excited and fascinated by that moment. Sun Mi doesn't even noticed that she picked the picture up....She thinks about how different Hyun Chul looks....She gets caught in the moment......Suddenly the door opens and Hyun Chul enters the room.

Sun Mi: (with surprise....Sun Mi quickly puts Hyun Chul's picture back just as it was before... she doesn't know what to do)

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul looks stiff and with a stiff voice says) As for me!! I don't like it when anybody touches my stuff without a good reason.

Sun Mi: (she feels a little hurt by Hyun Chul's words) I'm just......I just wanted to organize your desk. I didn't mean to upset you...for now on I will be more careful.

Hyun Chul: From Miss Jin Sun Mi's eyes my desk look disorderly, but from my eyes I know exactly where everything I need is.

Sun Mi: Oh, I'm sorry.....I do not undestand you yet. But today you have brought what I have done wrong to my attention and I will do my best to correct my error. (she bows her head a little, she walks past Hyun Chul and leaves the room)

Hyun Chul: (these past few days he doesn't know what is wrong with him......every time he is in front of Sun Mi he makes pointed remarks and behavior......He throws his briefcase onto his desk...he then looks at himself in the photograph)


BREAKROOM


Ju Hee: What is wrong, Miss Jin Sun Mi? You look so tired.

Sun Mi: Senior...the company boss, no matter what, is just the company boss.

Ju Hee: What does that mean?

Sun Mi: (sighs deeply)

Ju Hee: Maybe, Director Yun is giving you too much stress Miss Sun Mi.

Sun Mi: (she smiles) Yes...when I look at him I thought that because he was young, he would be more easy to work for. But, he is no different than the older generations.

Ju Hee: and?????

Sun Mi: He is a powerful man and his behavior is just like any other powerful person.......Do all powerful people act like that?

Ju Hee: (becoming more and more interested) Give me an example..........

Sun Mi: A few days ago, (Sun Mi wants to talk but she stops herself)
Never mind Senior...I am going to stop talking...

Ju Hee: Continue......if you have lots of stress, the best medicine is to say insulting things about the person causing the stress.

Sun Mi: For some reason...I feel like I've spit on myself...any how, he is my supervisor...an odious person or not...I have to be the first person to like him. (saying this makes Sun Mi behave unseemingly...she softly smiles)

Ju Hee: Ay...little stinker (she pinches Sun Mi's cheeks and smiles too)


FRONT OF MBS


Sun Mi leaves to go home. Young Mi looks at the pouring rain and pounds her feet on the ground)

Sun Mi: Miss Young Mi!!! Is something wrong?

Young Mi: The rain is coming down very hard and I don't have an umbrella. (Young Mi looks at Sun Mi's umbrella in her hand)

Sun Mi: Lets walk together, I am going to take the subway or go to the bus stop.

Young Mi: No....You give me your umbrella Miss Sun Mi...I'm late for a meeting...from the subway station it will be a long walk and I am wearing expensive clothes that I don't want to get wet....Anyway I have to run...two people under an umbrella isn't much better than not having an umbrella.

Sun Mi: (she has a confused look)

Youn Mi: I'm begging you Miss Sun Mi...I will return this good favor.

Sun Mi: (gives the umbrella to Young Mi) Go, hurry or you are going to be late.

Young Mi: Thank you, Miss Sun Mi. (She yanks the umbrella from Sun Mi's hands and runs off)

Sun Mi: (she looks at the rain and looks lost. she puts her bag over head, and is getting ready to make a run for it when someone touches her shoulder and she turns around)

Woo Jin: If you are planning on running through this strong rain, Miss Sun Mi, then you are stronger than what I thought.

Sun Mi: Oh, Mr. Woo Jin!!!!

Woo Jin: Just wait right here. I am going to go get my car to drive you.

Sun Mi: What?? a car?????

Woo Jin: Not long ago I bought a small car. I would have never bought it if there were pretty people like you Miss Sun Mi on the subway. But sometime heavy women ram into me, so that's why I bought it.

Sun Mi: (she looks amazed, and smiles)

Woo Jin: (he winks at Sun Mi) I will be right back. (he goes to the parking garage to get his car)

(Sun Mi felt relieved that she ran into Woo Jin. She feels differently now when she looks at the rain. In front of Sun Mi a car pulls up splashing rain and stops; it is Hyun Chul. )

Hyun Chul: (he opens his window a little) Miss Jin Sun Mi!!!!

Sun Mi: Mr. Director!!!!

Hyun Chul: Get in.....

Sun Mi: Well......(she doesn't know what to do or say to Hyun Chul)

(Suddenly another car pulls up next to Hyun Chul's car...Woo Jin gets out with an umbrella and runs to Sun Mi)

Hyun Chul: (He sees Woo Jin, he realizes what is going on, he closes his car window and drives off quickly)

Woo Jin: Miss Sun Mi!!!!

Sun Mi: (she watched Hyun Chul's car as it drives away and disappears)

CHAPTER 4 PART 1


OFFICE

Hyun Chul continues to have a cold attitude towards Sun Mi these past few days. Everytime Sun Mi goes in and out of Hyun Chul's office she feels as if she is walking on thin ice and her skin feels chilly all over. She doesn't remember doing anything wrong or making a mistake that would cause Hyun Chul to have this chilly attitude towards her. Sun Mi thinks that maybe this is just his true look.
Sun Mi sighs deeply, when suddenly the door to Hyun Chul's office opens and Hyun Chul walks up to Sun Mi...

Sun Mi: (She automatically gets up from her seat)

Hyun Chul: Miss Jin Sun Mi, how is the report I indicated to you this morning coming along?

Sun Mi: I am still getting it ready.

Hyun Chul: Please complete it by tomorrow morning.

Sun Mi: Huh, y..yesss??!!??!!

Hyun Chul: Do you need me to repeat what I said?

Sun Mi: No!...I understand what Mr. Director is saying. I just don't understand why the report has to be ready by tomorrow morning.

Hyun Chul: Miss Jin Sun Mi, do I have to give a reason for every instruction that I give you in order for you to understand?

Sun Mi: Of course not, Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: Then you know what needs to be done. It doesn't matter what else you have to do, this report needs to be completed before tomorrow morning's meeting.

Sun Mi: but...Mr. Director, each department has not sent their materials data sheets to me

Hyun Chul: Aa...Aa...Miss Jin Sun Mi, in society results are more important than process. So, if you tell me that you have a problem, it just sounds like an excuse.

Sun Mi: (her face turns red as can be, suddenly she becomes upset and feels like she wants to throw up)

Hyun Chul: Tomorrow morning's meeting is very important; the main office company chairman is going to be there. So of course, I trust Miss Jin Sun Mi, but please pay careful attention to make the report perfect. (Hyun Chul leaves the room)

Sun Mi: (her eyes begin to water, she tries to calm herself down so that she doesn't start crying, she says to herself) Jin Sun Mi, don't cry. If you cry, then you are going to lose.......Until tomorrow morning?...Ok...I'm going to finish this report even if it takes me all night...(she sits in her seat and enthusiastically begins to call each department)

(It is now close to the end of the day)
Sun Mi: (holding the phone) Daddy, I am going to be late coming home tonight. Don't wait up for me. Please go ahead and have dinner without me.

Gyu Sung: Have you promised to do something with someone?

Sun Mi: No, I have to finish some work.

Gyu Sung: You are busy with a lot of work. Are you going to be real late? What are you going to do about your dinner?

Sun Mi: I don't know yet. As for dinner, there is a restaurant near here that I can order from.

Gyu Sung: All right. Don't come home real late, and don't forget to have some dinner so that you will have the energy to work.

Sun Mi: Yes, daddy.....I know you are going to be lonely, but it is just for tonight. Have a good dinner and tomorrow I will make your favorite food, Hae-Mul-Tang (ocean fish soup).
(Sun Mi can hear Gyu Sung's delightful laughter over the phone, so she too laughs. But then she sees Hyun CHul coming out of his office)

Sun Mi: ( in a quiet voice) Daddy, I have to hang up now. I will see you later at home. (she hangs up the phone and gets up from her seat)

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul looks as cold and stiff as before) Well, Miss Jin Sun Mi work hard?

Sun Mi: (she doesn't feel like talking, but...) Be careful going home, Mr. Director.

(Hyun Chul disappears from the office. Sun Mi plops down into her seat. She barely collected every department's materials data sheets. But, she has to reorganize and edit them, so that they make a complete smooth report. She doesn't have much time. She doesn't feel like having dinner. She just sits in front of her computer and works.)



BAR


Hyun Chul: (He thinks about the assignment he left with Sun Mi. He thinks about how she is going to have to stay late and work, he is starting to feel guilty and nervous)

Sun Dahl: What are you thinking about so much? Let's have a toast.

Hyun Chul: Uh..??? (he looks at Sun Dahl, and they tap glasses)

Sun Dahl: (he takes a sip of his drink and then places his drink onto the table. He looks at Hyun Chul nervously) You are tough on Miss Jin Sun Mi...... Do you particularly not like her?

Hyun Chul: ( he looks at Sun Dahl as if to ask what he was talking about)

Sun Dahl: (he tries to ignore Hyun Chul's eyes) Well,.....I heard a rumor that you are giving Miss Jin Sun Min a lot of stress.

Hyun Chul: (has a light smile)

Sun Dahl: Aye......I can't switch around talking. Actually, I heard it from Ju Hee. Ju Hee and Sun Mi are very close and they talk to each other a lot about this and that. Ju Hee told me that Sun Mi has a lot......(he looks at Hyun Chul's eyes)....well,..just a little ....she looks like she is having a tough time.

Hyun Chul: Oh, Miss Jin Sun Mi said...... that I have been giving her a real hard time?

Sun Dahl: I think I shouldn't have said anything, I feel like I am informing on Miss Jin Sun Mi to you. ( he gets an assurance from Hyun Chul) Anyhow, don't you give Miss Jin Sun Mi a hard time because of what I am saying, okay?

Hyun Chul: (he doesn't say anything and just takes a sip from his drink)

Sun Dahl: Miss Jin Sun Mi has a natural clear mind; she is innocent and pretty. What, is she not your style? I thought the two of you were a dream combination, but I heard from Ju Hee that this is not true. Don't give Miss Jin Sun Mi so much stress. Do you think that people are born to be perfect? The first time doing anything can make somebody confused. I think that she is going to be okay.

Hyun Chul: Senior! What you said makes you sound like Miss Jin Sun Mi's real brother.

Sun Dahl: Yes!...That is I hope Miss Jin Sun Mi is my sister....Don't you think Miss Jin Sun Mi and I have the same smile?...Hmmm? (he smiles)

Hyun Chul: (he looks at Sun Dahl is disbelief and smiles back)

(for a short time Hyun Chul and Sun Dahl sit in silence. Little by little the liquer bottle is being emptied)

Hyun Chul: I don't know what is wrong with me.

Sun Dahl: Huh...What???

Hyun Chul: I don't know why I suddenly act so mean tempered and narrow minded...

Sun Dahl: What do you mean "suddenly act mean tempered"?

Hyun Chul: Senior!... (Hyun Chul smiles)....Lately, I try so hard to be mean to someone without any reason...but my heart does not feel that way!...Everytime, I see this person I don't know why but I start to act and talk in a mean way.

Sun Dahl: (his eyes open a little) Female or male????

Hyun Chul: (he looks at Sun Dahl with an expressionless face)

Sun Dahl: It is a female?...Am I right???

Hyun Chul: (He picks up his glass full of liquer)

Sun Dahl: (he thinks that he has found out some big news and grows restless) I feel like immediatley going to the tv station and broadcasting to everyone in the world this urgent news. You know what the headline is?...."Yun Hyun Chul finally has fallen in love."

Hyun Chul: (he stops in the middle of taking a drink and puts his glass back onto the table) Senior!

Sun Dahl: (Sun Dahl hits Hyun Chul on the back) Hey!!!......You have finally found someone who you can be matched with. Do you want me to guess who it is? Clearly, you saw your woman with another guy and they looked very close and affectionate towards one another. After you saw that, you decided to use your specialty...STUBBORNESS. Didn't you???

Hyun Chul: What!?!?!...specialty???

Sun Dahl: Hey, you're being jealous now.......HA HA HA HA......Oh, boy. (Sun Dahl laughs continously)

Hyun Chul: (Sun Dahl's laughter makes Hyun Chul stunned, but he becomes sincere)...Jealous?

Sun Dahl: (Sun Dahl gets up and taunts Hyun Chul a little, then he sits down) Well, who is it,...Hmmm? Anyhow you have already told me how you feel, you might as well tell me who is it. Do I know her? That way I can help you.

Hyun Chul: (Suddenly, he thinks about Sun Mi and immediatley his heart begins to worry, he suddenly get up from his chair) Senior!!...I am going to get up first.

Sun Dahl: What ?!?!?!??!?!?!

(Sun Dahl sees that Hyun Chul is already running out of the bar. Sun Dahl sits hopelessly without saying a word. His eyes are amazed.)



FRONT OF MBS


(Hyun Chul gets out of a taxi. He can't even get himself to go inside the building. He just looks up at the light from his office window. Suddenly, he picks up his cell phone.)

SECRETARY ROOM

(It's late at night. Sun Mi frequently adjusts and edits, gradually little by little she finishes the report. She has finally calmed down. Suddenly, someone knocks on her office door. A man enters...)

Man: Are you Miss Jin Sun Mi??

Sun Mi: I am, can I help you.

Man: I am here to deliver Sushi to you. ( he places a package on Sun Mi's table)

Sun Mi: (her eyes become big, and confused) I didn't order any Sushi, I think you have delievered this to the wrong place.

Man: A man called the order in and told me to deliver it here. Enjoy the meal.

(the man bows and leaves)

Sun Mi: (she inclines her head) Who could have ordered this? Daddy? Maybe, Mr. Woo Jin? (Sun Mi shakes her head). No, they don't know that I am here working late. Then , maybe somebody up there sent it to me (she looks up)?

(with a light smile, she picks up the package and opens the dinner box. Inside are appetizing sushi that automatically makes her mouth water. She picks one up and puts in her mouth, there is a stinging taste from the mustard.......But, it tastes so good that it melts in her mouth.)

Sun Mi: Ummm, tastes so good. Anyhow I was really hungry. (loudly she says...) thank you very much!...(quiet voice) I don't know who sent this to me. (again she picks one up and puts in her mouth. she sits back down at her computer and looks at the monitor).



FRONT OF MBS

(Hyun Chul gets out a cigarette. The smoke is thick. Hyun Chul looks up again at the light glimmering from his office window. He finishes his cigarette. He then goes and sits at the corner on a staircase. He remembers what Sun Dahl said " Yun Hyun Chul has finally fallen in love." Little by little Hyun Chul's mouth appears to be smiling. And finally he smiles big.)

"Lovely You" Chapter 4 Part 2

#Front of Sun Mi House
It almost 11 Olock and Gyu Sung is walking back and forth in front of his house waiting for Sun Mi to return home. Suddenly he sees Sun Mi walking toward his house

Gyu Sung: Sun Mi!!!!!

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi looks very tired and walks with drooping shoulders, she raises her head.) Daddy!! (the moment Sun Mi sees her father ……it is sorrow? Suddenly, Sun Mi feels a lot of sorrow welling up in her but takes pains to keep it inside her heart. She runs to the Gyu Sung)

Gyu Sung: Little rascal!! Why do you come home this lateithout you that TV station can process anythingeeping you at work late is not right, Do you know what time it is now?

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi folds Gyu Sung arms) Yes, it is Daddy. I going to keep asking for double pay?

Guy Sung: (passes his hands over Sun Mi face) Today has made you look very tired...it is pitiful to see your face. Did you eat the dinner?

Sun Mi: (suddenly she remembers the ushi If it wasn daddythen who sent me the ushi Yes, I not going to starveo don worry about me daddy.

Gyu Sung: By the way, I think I going to meet with your Boss if he is already doing this. In the future he could become worse.

Sun Mi: Daddy!! You can do that I not a one or two year old kid.

Guy Sung: That it is right. Youe a not a kid, youe a grown up lady. Keeping you at work this late, he should have brought you home safely- at least he can do that much.

Sun Mi: He was going to bring me safely home, but I was very uncomfortable so I said oto him. He caught a taxi for me.

Gyu Sung: ( his face a little calm) sore?

Sun Mi: Yesdaddy (Sun Mi looks a little bitter) it is Mr. director ……he is very good person.

Next Day Secretary Room

Sun Mi: (same as usual, she has bright smile) Hi! Good morning, Mr. Director!!
Hyun Chul: ( Hyun Chul did not expect Sun Mi attitude. Sun Mi looked very glad to see him and she gave him a bright smile, the moment Hyun Chul saw Sun Mi he got confused, he tried to clear his throat by coughing to attract attention). Yes. Good morning.

#Director Room

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul eyes catches the top of his desk where the papers were laid straight, he rested his chin on his hand, for a short time Hyun Chul fell into thinking)

(Sun Mi quietly knocks on Hyun Chul door. He sees Sun Mi enter with the His coffee)

(Hyun Chul thought she can tell him how good she looks, she kept a calm intellectual personality and was wearing a neat white blouse and a beige skirt that went to the edge of her knees. Her beautiful shape and slender body was outstanding. The soft morning sunlight made Sun Mi more beautiful Sun Mi a dazzling beauty come close to him)

Hyun Chul: (looking at Sun Mi Hyun Chul heart goes pit-a-pat. He suddenly starts looking at top of his desk and rummaging through the paper)

Sun Mi: (places the coffee on his desk) May I have a word with you?

Hyun Chul: (he doesn even look up at Sun Mi) I will talk to you later.

Sun Mi: You have 30 minutes left before you have to catch the meeting. My words just take 5 minutes.

Hyun Chul: (only then Hyun Chul raises his head and looks at Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (put pledge to her heart, becomes tense)

Hyun Chul: (sits deeply back into his seat. He acts like he is getting prepared for Sun Mi to talk, he looks clearly into Sun Mi face)

Sun Mi: Yesterday you gave a very good speech, n society results are more important than process That advicen my future social life I shall remember it a long time,t is just like medicine

Hyun Chul: ………………

Sun Mi: But, I would like to give you some advice. You may think that I am behaving conceited……but, sometimes I think you should listen to inferior words, that is a superior based position.

Hyun Chul: (a little tense) Well, let me listen to what you want to say.
Sun Mi: It is just like yesterday, suddenly you advanced the date for the data. At least you could have explained the details, you did not have to speak in a commanding tone. If you explain why I have to do this work and you don explain and just command me to do it makes an enormous difference. You indicated a report to be finished by the end of this week. Suddenly I have to do it in advance to finish by this morningf you can at least give me a reason or short explanation……if you can explain………….

Hyun Chul: If I give a explanation then. it is you will have a lighter feeling of hurt

Sun Mi: (her eyes get big……she puts her head down to avoid Hyun Chul eyes)…….yes

Hyun Chul: (immediately Hyun Chul brushes out a smile)

Sun Mi: I have now informed Mr. Director, I know it wasn very polite. (Sun Mi face gets more red) But, you are going to be working more in the future then working during the present day. So what I saying to you is please just think about what I trying to say in the future when many other people are going to be accompanying Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: (he looks at Sun Mi expressionless face)

Sun Mi: (looks very tense and unstimulated. Her expression is like she is waiting for the punishment)

Hyun Chul: Are you finished Miss Jin Sun Mi?

Sun Mi: Yes

Hyun Chul: (he sat up straight and looked at the top of his desk at the papers) Well thenou can go back to work

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi feeling unbearably ashamed, she gets tearful eyes and looks furtively wry in the face. Then Sun Mi leaves Hyun Chul office)

Hyun Chul: (He has a paper in his hand that he then puts down to his desk as Sun Mi steps out of his office. Hyun Chul gazes for long time. He leans back in his chair with the his hand behind the head, Hyun Chul has a gentle smile) Oh, this is a brave young lady Where are you going to cry

#The Company Rooftop

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi runs to the rooftop. Sun Mi constantly has tearful eyes and tears come down…… Your a fool, why do you cry I doing fine…… truly I doing fine.I have to correct clearly when I am being mistreated.Jin Sun Mi your perfectly doing well……I just going to cry only todayjust once.

#Conference Room

At a oval-table in the conference room in front of Hyun Chul chair at the head of the table, Sun Mi prepares last nights late written report.
In front of each person is a report on top of the round- table. Based on the report, Hyun Chul eagerly makes an announcement in front of everybody, Chairman Yun looking at Hyun Chul, he does not want to even miss one of his son speeches, he is quite pleased with his son, Hyun Chul. It reminds the supreme leader Chairman Yun of the scores of years he lead the titanic group. He already can see the familiar Moon Young TV station present and future. Also, he can see his son, Hyun Chul, passion and foresight in the work.

#Secretary Room

(Hyun Chul enters the room, he returns from the meeting, Sun Mi gets up from her seat)

Hyun Chul: Miss Jin Sun Mi by the way I told you before that every time I pass by you you don need to get up

Sun Mi: It has already become a habit

Hyun Chul: May I have one cup of coffee (Hyun Chul enters his office)

Sun Mi: Mr. Director!!

Hyun Chul: (he turns around and looks at sun Mi)

Sun Mi: At this time How about American style, lighter coffee?

Hyun Chul: (quietly smiles) Ummyes, it must be nice

Sun Mi: (the whole time Sun Mi felt like she was being mistreated by Hyun Chul, but his e-mail made her heart become softer, she felt very thankful. Sun Mi return a salute to give her specialty warm smile to Hyun Chul, she gives him a big bright smile)

Lovely You" Chapter 5

In no time, Hyun Chul and Sun Mi dispose of matters handily. The two of them are becoming a fascinating combination.
In the past, Hyun Chul does everything like a man of self-assertion (a stubborn fellow). At the present time, he does not leave one or two things but lets the this and that way of everything depend on Sun Mi.
Even Sun Mi can already tell Hyun Chul's mood and condition by the expression in his eyes and some of his gestures.

CONFERENCE ROOM
(Hyun Chul sits at the head of an oval table surrounded by people)

Hyun Chul: (he stares at the Woo Jin who is sitting far away) Mr. Kim Woo Jin, do you like basketball?

Woo Jin: (has a expressionless face in response to Hyun Chul's unexpected question) Yes, I do.

Hyun Chul: That is good. Someday let us play a match. Just playing the game is not fun, so we will make a bet.... how about it?

Woo Jin: (harsh words) That would be okay.

Hyun Chul: (he looks around at everyone sitting at the table and smiles) In baseball or basketball there is always a dream team. Dream team......I like these words very much. It sounds proffesional and for some reason creates a fresh amatuer feeling. It is a condition that no longer searches for good opportunities, a non-stop condition, never hateful, an expression of confidence. This is my own way of kind of putting meaning into these words. (Hyun Chul feels everyone's tense expression and steady gaze at him, he can even hear some people swallow.)

Hyun Chul: (with a self-confident expression in his eyes and his words) I even think that I want to organize a dream team. Right now everyone sitting in this room has been working with familiar passion and capacity at this broadcasting station. Everybody here will be elected by the dream team members. (Hyun Chul's speech encourages everyone so that they naturally begin to feel self-confident and excited.)

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul can perceive a change in the passions by the workers at the station. He is satisfied by the people) This coming Spring, we will reorganize. It is a matter of life and death that MBS hang on to and promote "Morning with Eve". (he takes a rest) Honestly, it all depends on everybody's helping hand. (everyone's face could see a tragic decision coming, it doesn't matter what they do, they are going to make the best program. In the crowd of people they could see the looks from Sun Dahl, Je Hee, and Young Mi.)

SECRETARY ROOM
(Knock Knock. Somebody knocks on Sun Mi's door and a middle-aged woman enters. Her appearance and personl ornaments indicated that she was very much a upper-class woman.)

Sun Mi: (she stops working and gets up from her seat) May I help you Mam?

Mrs. Lee: (she looks carefully and curiously at Sun Mi) Is this Director Yun Hyun Chul's office?

Sun Mi: Yes, you are right. Do you need to see Mr. Director?

Mrs. Lee: Yes. (she looks carefully at Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she walks up to Mrs. Lee) Have you made an appointment?

Mrs. Lee: No. Is Director Yun in his office at this moment?

Sun Mi: No, he is in a conference meeting. (she looks at her watch) There is another 30 minutes left before the meeting is over. Do you want to wait inside the room?

Mrs. Lee: Will it be alright for me to do that.....

Sun Mi: (she gives Mrs. Lee a bright smile) Yes, it is........this way, please.

Mrs. Lee: (she thinks that Sun Mi has a really nice smile. she follows Sun Mi as she leads her into Hyun Chul's room)

DIRECTOR'S ROOM

Mrs. Lee: (this is the first time she has come to see her son's work place. it is quite pleasing....a deep emotion of freshness....she looks and pays attention to Hyun Chul's office.)

Sun Mi: (looking at Mrs. Lee's appearance and think to herself "who is she?". Sun Mi tries to guess in her own way. Sun Mi points to the sofa) Please sit down here. Mr. Director will be here soon.

Mrs. Lee: Thank you.

Sun Mi: Would you like a cup of tea while you wait?

Mrs. Lee: Ummm......May I have a cup of green tea?

Sun Mi: Okay, I will go and get it. It will be back in a minute.

Mrs. Lee: (Sun Mi leaves Hyun Chul's office and Mrs. Lee watches her. From the first time she saw Sun Mi she seemed agreeable. Sun Mi's first impression has touched Mrs. Lee's heart and made her feel pleasant.)

A HALLWAY

(after finishing the meeting, Hyun Chul walks with Sun Dahl)

Sun Dahl: (he looks at Hyun Chul respectfully) Today, I saw a different appearance in you. I'll tell you the truth, the whole time I thought about condemning you. I am not talking about your real ability...ummm...what I am saying is.....accroding to your age and experience, I thought you were still unfamiliar with the people here, and I was worried about you. But today your appearance, .. WOW...you had an overflow of charisma that caught everyone's attention.

Hyun Chul: (he had a satisfying smile on his face)

Sun Dahl: This time I think that "Morning with Eve" with its repeated big promotions will be better than any other work. In broadcasting or any other business, if the boss believes that his employees are the best and he leans on them, no one has a choice but to work good. Even I am too. Everyone's spirit will rise to the sky and they will be sparkling with ideas. How about that Mr. Director?

(Behind Hyun Chul and Sun Dahl, Woo Jin walks with Young Mi)

Young Mi: (looks at Hyun Chul's back with courteous sparkling eyes) Many times I feel that Mr. Director Yun looks charming but to day he looked uniquely more charming.

Woo Jin: (from the beginning of working at this company, Woo Jin has already heard many stories about Hyun Chul- his family, his background, his academics, his distinguished look, his natural working attitude, etc. But Woo Jin thinks that Hyun Chul belongs to a different category that makes Woo Jin feel very sarcastic. Today, Hyun Chul had an unexpected look, but not yet, he would have to see Hyun Chul's actions more to decide what he thinks about him.)

Young Mi: Anyhow,...I am very happy to be working with you again Mr. Kim. How about it Mr. Kim?

Woo Jin: Huh....Ah, yes. I am happy to be working on the same team as Miss Young Mi.

Young Mi: (flirting smiling) Oh my, are you thinking what I am thinking Mr. Kim?

Woo Jin: (inside takes another breath)

Young Mi: Ah....I am so happy. I am going to be working with two stylish men- Director Yun and Mr. Kim.

Woo Jin: Ummm....I have a lunch appointment with somebody... I have to leave. (already Woo Jin gets up and runs away)

Young Mi: (Woo Jin walks out so coldly that Young Mi gets a little upset, but she thinks about the future and automatically begins to smile)


DIRECTORS ROOM
(Hyun Chul hears from Sun Mi that he has a guest waiting for him in his office. Hyun Chul enters his room)

Mrs. Lee: (she walks back and forth in front of the bookcase. She hears the door open.) Director Yun!!!

Hyun CHul: (he looks surprised) Mother!!!!!

Mrs. Lee: (she has no choice but to give a maternal smile because he is her son, she walks up to him) Wow, from this place my son looks very different. Are you Hyun Chul?

Hyun Chul: (curtly) What are you doing here?

Mrs. Lee: (she feels mistreated) Unfriendly rascal! Even if you are not even happy to see me....do you have to make that face.

Hyun Chul: Ah....Mother....when did I do that... (leaving his statement vague). Anyhow, truely what is the problem?

Mrs. Lee: (hers eyes continue to show a feeling of mistreatment) When a mother come see her son does she have to have a reason. I just came because I missed you. If I don't have a reason you act like I can't even put my foot in this room.

Hyun Chul: (if she is mad it is hard to appease her. She still acts like a young girl. Rub her the wrong way and no tellng what will happen next. Hyun Chul hugs his mother) Mother...I am glad you are here...by the way...I missed hugging you very much.....(he looks at Mrs. Lee and gives her a big smile)

Mrs. Lee: (she acts like she has no choice but to pinch Hyun Chul's arms) Get away from me rascal.

Hyun Chul: (smiles, and loosens his arms from Mrs. Lee)

Mrs. Lee: Your room is neat and pretty. I was looking around and I don't think that you are doing useless work. You may think that I spend all my time inside a house and don't know anything but just looking at your desk I can tell if you have been working hard or not.

Hyun Chul: (with a gentle smile) What kind of person do you think father is, he never gives me anything special because I am his son...still, in front of father I become tense

Mrs. Lee: That is true. Your father is very unadaptable.

Hyun Chul: (has a light smile) Yes...

Mrs. Lee: (feels good to laugh) For a long time you haven't bought me lunch, so I have come to ask you to take me to lunch....you haven't promised someone else?

Hyun Chul: Even if I promised someone I would cancel since my beautiful mother has come to visit me, right?

Mrs. Lee: (she gives Hyun Chul a scowl look) Ay...you rascal......You are completely sneaky. Anyhow, you have to escort me to a wonderful place.

Hyun Chul: Yes Mamm!

Mrs. Lee: Well, Hyun Chul....(she rolls her curious eyes) Is that your secretary outside?

Hyun Chul: Oh, Miss Jin Sun Mi.

Mrs. Lee: Her name is Jun Sun Mi? Jin...Sun Mi......Oh, she has a very pretty name...even her face is pretty...she also has a pretty heart

Hyun Chul: Mother, how do you know Miss Jin Sun Mi has a pretty heart or not?

Mrs. Lee: Beginning when I came here. You don't know how kind and sweet she was, she gave me a cup of warm green tea.

Hyun Chul: (inside his heart is feeling very good to hear this, but he acted unconcious) All secretaries have to be kind to anyone.

Mrs. Lee: Do you think that I don't know how to tell if someone is pretending to be kind or from their own heart. Also her bright smile was very pretty...it reminds me of when I was young.

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi come across his mind, suddenly his heart grows restless. he is very happy that his mother has a good impression of Sun Mi)

Mrs. Lee: What kind of family does she have?...Truely, they raised their daughter in a fine way.
I wonder how much warm-hearted she is at home. I only have two blunt sons (she looks quickly at Hyun Chul). If not, at least you can bring that type of daughter-in-law to me. Ay...I have two sons, but they both are workaholics like their father.

Hyun Chul: (he wants his mother to stop talking) Mother!!!!

Mrs. Lee: Does Miss Jin Sun Mi have a boyfriend?

Hyun Chul: Mother!!!!!

Mrs. Lee: I just want to know...I'm hungry, lets go and eat...Hurry up.

Hyun Chul: (a gentle smile)


SECRETARY ROOM

Mrs. Lee: (she looks at Sun Mi with a familiar smile) Thank you for the green tea. It was good.

Sun Mi: Yes,...Be careful.

Hyun Chul: I am going out to lunch with my mother. I will be back after lunch.

Sun Mi: (Mother!!! Suddenly her eyes get big)

Mrs. Lee: See you again next time. Miss Jin Sun Mi, is it okay if I come here often.

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul thought that his mother was going to talk for a long time. She may create an awkward situation for Sun Mi or him. Before his mother could say something, he tries to get her out of there) Mother, this afternoon I have an important appointment, lets go (he pushes his mother)

Mrs. Lee: Bye, Miss Jin Sun Mi. Next time we will eat some lunch together.

Sun Mi: (still confused) Yes.

(looks like Mrs. Lee is being dragged by Hyun Chul as they leave Sun Mi's room. Sun Mi looks at Hyun Chul and Mrs. Lee and for a moment is stunned)

FRONT OF ELEVATOR

(Sun Mi and Woo Jin accidentally meet, they wait for the elevator, and for a short time they have a chat.)

Woo Jin: We work for the same TV station and still I have a hard time seeing Miss Sun Mi.

Sun Mi: I am always in the same place. Mr. Woo Jin spends too much time on outside work.

Woo Jin: I don't know why I became a cameraman (truely, but he acted like it was a joke) Until now, I have never regretted my work not even for one moment. But, truely, now I don't like my job.

Sun Mi: (she expected a joke, and smiled) Me too....I love my work but everytime I stay inside I feel stuffy. At that time I envy Mr. Woo Jin, who gets to carry a camera this way and that way.

(Hyun Chul returns from lunch. He looks at Sun Mi and Woo Jin. He becomes uncomfortable mood. he quietly stands behind them)

(Hyun Chul rests his head on his hands and remembers what Woo Jin and Sun Mi were talking about, Hyun Chul begins to feel more bad, he closes his eyes and sits back into his seat, suddenly for a moment he has a sparkle in his eyes, he pushes a interoffice phone)

Sun Mi: Yes, Mr. Director?

Hyun Chul: Prepare for going out.

Sun Mi: Huh????

(Hyun Chul jumps up from his chair and walks toward his door)

Hyun Chul: (soon after, he comes out from his office) Come with me.

Hyun Chul: (swings a door open , Hyun Chul is already walking out of the room)

Sun Mi: (she doesn't know what is going on, she just follows Hyun Chul)

Sun Mi: (Hyun Chul is way ahead of Sun Mi, Sun Mi walks quickly and steps close to him)......Mr. Director!!!!

Hyun Chul: (gives Sun Mi a side glance)

Sun Mi: Mr. Director, where are we going? Do you think I should know?

Hyun Chul: (suddenly Hyun Chul stops walking) Ummm.....let me say this is an inspection ......Once upon a time, there was a king who would disguise himself and go looking everywhere at the people to see how they were. FIELD SHOOTING LOCATION

[Every where all the staff is busily getting ready for the shoot. Inside one group Woo Jin is arranging the position of the camera. He positions the cameras this way and that way to get the best camera angle, but Woo Jin is also anxious as he is waiting for Sun Mi to arrive. At that time, Woo Jin sees Sun Mi walking toward him with a soft step. She is wearing a light outfit; Woo Jin has only seen Sun Mi in formal neat dress. Woo Jin thought that Sun Mi's outfit today was very different, that makes Woo Jin's heart flutter.]

Woo Jin: (he stops working and runs to Sun Mi) Miss Sun Mi!!!!!

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi quietly watches Woo Jin's many different looks. She smiles quietly, but she becomes involved in unconciously looking at her wrist watch.)

[the shooting takes a long time. as time passes Sun Mi looks repeatedly at her wrist watch. Somehow Sun Mi looks anxious.
Finally, the PD drops the OK sign to signal that the shooting day is complete]

Woo Jin: (he looks very satisfied and walks toward Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she smiles) You did well, Mr. Woo Jin. I didn't know that you had to go through all this hard work during the shooting of just a couple of scenes.

Woo Jin: Today, is steadily getting better. On many other days, shooting takes longer then today.

Sun Mi: Every work is hard, not even one thing can be easy.

Sun Mi: (she doesn't know how fast and far she had run...after running she takes a hard breath that could fill her up to her chin, she straightens herself up. She nervously looks around to find Hyun Chul. She is completely anxious... she is like that for a long time. Finally she see Hyun Chul sitting far away. Suddenly Sun Mi gets a strange feeling in her heart, she wants to cry...she walks a little slowly....she comes close to Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul looks down, he doesn't even know that Sun Mi is close to him. At that moment Hyun Chul hears a soft voice)

Sun Mi: Is this seat taken?

Hyun Chul: (Just as heart, his neck becomes hardened. Hyun Chul puts all if his strength into raising his head to look at Sun Mi)

[Suddenly the crowd of people stand up from their seats and scream together. The scoreboard clearly says that there were two homeruns scored]

Min Chul: You are under arrest!! You have the right to remain silent and the right to consult a lawyer.

Hyun Chul: (his face is full of a smile) Don't be so childish, Yun Min Chul!!!!

Min Chul: (in a sweet voice) Br...o..th...er.....(finally they burst into a laugh for a long time)
