Sun Mi wants to know the full story about the conversation she accidentally overheard during lunch, Sun Mi calls out Je Hee. Je Hee, she doesn’t know anything about how Sun Mi feels and starts to make a fervent speech about Hyun Chul, as time passes Sun Mi’s face becomes very hard looking.

Je Hee: Anyhow, Mr. Director Yun has turned our announcer room into an atmosphere of mourning.

Sun Mi: (she is not in a position to defend Hyun Chul or criticize him unfavorably)

Je Hee: just because the station spends so much money…doesn’t mean that they are going to develop a good program…they spend so much money to bring in free-lancers, how many additional viewers do they think they can attract…I am going to watch and see the audience ranking.

Sun Mi: (she breaths slightly) Senior, if you or I were in Mr. Director’s position how would you think we should handle the situation?

Je Hee: Hmmm????

DIRECTOR’S ROOM

It is close to the time that Sun Mi leaves her office, she quietly knocks on Hyun Chul’s office door and then opens the door quietly.
Hyun Chul is standing close to the window with his back to the door. Hyul Chul is thinking deeply about the broadcast of the station. She knows that his decisions have made his heart experience more pain than any other person. Sun Mi can see Hyun Chul’s pain, which makes her heart become more painful and chilly.

Sun Mi: Mr. Director….

Hyun Chul: …right now, the whole broadcasting staff see me as a cold-hearted person and denounce me for the decisions I have made…Miss Jin Sun Mi, do you think the same way as everyone else…you feel like denouncing me too…right?

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi becomes aware of Hyun Chul’s pain, she begins to have tears in her eyes) No, Mr. Director…of course not, not at all.

Hyun Chul: You are trying to comfort me…you do not have to do that just because you are my employee …just because you work under me that doesn’t mean you always have to protect me.

Sun Mi: (in her heart she wishes she can show Hyun Chul everything that she is feeling, but somehow she can’t which makes her heart very painful)

Hyun Chul: ……it is enough that you worry about me, you can leave the office and go home now.

Sun Mi: See you tomorrow, Mr. Director.

SUN MI’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM

Sun Mi: (she comes out of her kitchen carrying a plate of fruit, she sits on the couch)

Gyu Sung: (he looks carefully at Sun Mi’s face) Sun Mi…

Sun Mi: Yes, daddy

Gyu Sung: Lately, you seem to be upset about something?

Sun Mi: (she smiles softly) No, daddy. I am fine.

Gyu Sung: Are you sure?

Sun Mi: (she nods her head heavily)

Gyu Sung: You are deliberately not telling me because you don’t want me to worry, right?

Sun Mi: No, I am telling you the truth, daddy. (she picks up a piece of fruit with a fork and hands it to Gyu Sung)

Gyu Sung: (he looks at Sun Mi and does not feel relieved, lately Gyu Sung has seen Sun Mi’s face become weak often)

Sun Mi: (she softly drops her head, then raises her head) Daddy, have you ever experienced a time when someone you knew was having a really hard time and you wanted to help them, but you were afraid that you could make things worse for them?

Gyu Sung: (a while ago he heard from one of his students some gossip about Sun Mi having a boyfriend. When he first heard about the rumor, he didn’t give it much thought but now that he has seen Sun Mi’s face he thinks that she must really be in love with someone) From my point of view, you are not worried about you giving them more pain…you are more afraid that you may get hurt…if I had the same problem, I would just deal with the situation…that situation may become painful for the two people…but, at least you won’t feel regret later because at least you tried.

TWO MONTHS LATER
STATION CONFERENCE ROOM

There is a violent battle between Hyun Chul and supervisor Kim, the atmosphere of the meeting room is very tense, unlike the sticky heat of the outdoors the inside of the conference room is chilly.

Supervisor Kim: (extremely angered) These days younger generations go into the world to receive degrees and taste the water from foreign countries…they think that companies will just turn into what they want…management is based on the realties of life, it requires action!! It is not based on trifle dreams!!! If an elder gives you advice then you should accept it respectfully…what have you done that’s been right…all you have done is talked back at me.

Hyun Chul: (he violently stares at supervisor Kim, he tightly clinches his fist) you must be confused by what is advice and what is unfavorable criticism. You must misunderstand…If I am remembering correctly Mr. Kim…not once have you sincerely given me advice, all you do in criticize me. Is that how much you are frightened of me? Actually, I should be grateful to you…you treat me as a man of great ability to compete against you.

Supervisor Kim: (his face turns many-colored, like he is ready to explode) What…what did you say?

Hyun Chul: (completely not yielding his look)

Supervisor Kim: (baring his anger) a young man sitting in such an advanced seat, can’t see anything…a man of ability!!! Huhhh!!! Pours money like water and what did you get in return…(he throws a audience ranking chart in front of Hyun Chul’s face) you did this kind of work, and you still give speeches…you do not even know your insufficient ability…Goodness, I don’t know how I am going to report this to Chairman Yun.

Hyun Chul: (his face becomes flushed with blood and turns red, Hyun Chul looks like he is about to blow-up) I am going to take full responsibility.

Supervisor Kim: You’re still prideful to the end…in what way are you going to take responsibility…I will be watching over you for a very long time.

LOBBY (A HALLWAY)

Hyun Chul: (kicks away the door as he walks out of the meeting room, he has an awful look on his face as he walks away from the conference room fast)

Sun Dahl: (follows Hyun Chul) Mr. Director!!! Hyun Chul!!! Calm down…supervisor Kim always wants to torture you…he just enjoys any opportunity to do that to you.

Hyun Chul: Today was an insult!!! Surely…I am going to return the insult.

Sun Dahl: Not with this attitude…It is not right to confront him in this bitter mood.

Hyun Chul: (in a loud voice) Oh right!!!! Everything is my fault!!! Whatever supervisor Kim says…I better just keep my mouth shut. I have to be silent, that is right in any case I am the one who has ruined the company.

Sun Dahl: Hyun Chul!!!

Hyun Chul: (he acts like he doesn’t want to hear anymore of Sun Dahl’s words, Hyun Chul turns his face away from Sun Dahl and starts to walk away more quickly)

Sun Dahl: (he watched Hyun Chul’s back, Sun Dahl starts to feel a painful suffocation)

SECRETARY’S ROOM

The door flies open, Sun Mi quickly lifts her head up, she sees Hyun Chul upset and full of anger, she becomes tense. Hyun Chul closes the door loudly almost sounding like the door is going to break, then Hyun Chul disappears into his office.
Many people have criticized Hyun Chul’s action for selecting free-lancers…there is a low expectation and a slump in activity…the auditions continue to crawl at the bottom…this makes Hyun Chul suffer pain and impatient…Hyun Chul can’t say anything…Sun Mi obviously hadn’t seen everything that happened in the meeting…but she can imagine that in today’s meeting Hyun Chul was clearly attacked by Supervisor Kim.
For the past two months, Sun Mi has stood closer by Hyun Chul than anyone else…she has watched over Hyun Chul and has become very worried about him…she hesitates for a long time in front of Hyun Chul’s office door…then Sun Mi knocks on his office door…

DIRECTOR’S ROOM

Hyun Chul: (leaning over his desk with his hands clasped in front of his forehead and his eyes and mouth tightly closed, he looks as if he is about to explode if anyone touched him…his look is dangerous)

Sun Mi: Mr. Director…

Hyun Chul: ……

Sun Mi: (she can’t think of what words can she say to comfort him, but she can’t leave him like this…)

Hyun Chul: For now on, I am not in my office. If somebody…anybody…calls or visits…turn them away…please

Sun Mi: (her heart becomes painful) Mr. Director…

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul hits his fist down on his desk, and yells…) Do you not understand what I am saying Miss Jin Sun Mi!!!!!!!!

Sun Mi: (she is surprised by Hyun Chul, her eyes become big and round)

Hyun Chul: (he sees Sun Mi’s shocked and frightened eyes, at once he regrets his behavior)

Sun Mi: I am very sorry Mr. Director. (Sun Mi hurries out of Hyun Chul’s office)

Hyun Chul: (everything is turning into complete confusion, he roughly unties his necktie and throws it away)


SECRETARY’S ROOM

Sun Mi hurries out of Hyun Chul’s office door, it is not easy to calm her heart down, she pushes down the feeling in her heart and stands absentmindedly for quite a while and then suddenly tears form in her eyes, she closes her eyes and suddenly is awoken by the ringing of the telephone…

Sun Mi: (she quickly suppresses her tears, and in a calm voice…) Planning Director Room, this is Jin Sun Mi speaking.

Sun Dahl: Miss Jin Sun Mi?? This is Kim Sun Dahl

Sun Mi: Yes, how are you Mr. Kim?

Sun Dahl: If you are not busy…can I see you for a moment?

SMALL CONFERENCE ROOM

Sun Dahl: You are always watching over Mr. Director…you know him better than anybody…Right now, Director Yun is having an extremely difficult time.

Sun Mi: (looks down, her expression becomes dark)

Sun Dahl: Mr. Director is preparing for abusive talk from some people but he still makes decisions. Some of his decisions have turned out to go the wrong direction, different then what he had intended...and in today’s meeting …Supervisor Kim always opposes Mr. Director…and today he criticized Director Yun a lot.

Sun Mi: (she thinks about Hyun Chul’s problem at work, a large pain comes to her heart)

Sun Dahl: From Supervisor Kim’s point of view, before Director Yun showed up, he was in control around the broadcasting station. But now he can’t control the station that easily, and Director Yun’s existence is a splinter in his eyeside. Now Director Yun’s decision are becoming trouble…Supervisor Kim thinks that this is his chance to catch Director Yun…Chairman Yun is a fair and impartial person, he is secure in services and accomplishments, that is why Supervisor Kim thinks that he can get Director Yun to completely withdraw from the broadcasting station. Anyhow today Director Yun and Supervisor Kim were very intense

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi’s face becomes more hard)

Sun Dahl: Nevertheless…Director Yun also didn’t do the right thing…when the other side attacks he should have stepped back and maintained his composure…he should have known better than to attack the other side…that attitude made things turn worse…everybody knows that Director Yun is a capable person but he is stubborn and has an easy temper…he needs to change this…sometimes he needs to ignore the situation, but he doesn’t know how to do that…

Sun Mi: ……

Sun Dahl: Director Yun has only taken elite courses…he has no experience with this kind of failure…this problem has put a bad taste in Director Yun’s mouth…for the first time he is experienced failure and it is turning into his lifetime record…this problem is at a crucial stage at the moment…Director Yun needs to handle it well…if he doesn’t…

Sun Mi: The reason you are telling me about this problem…it is your intention that I do a good job assisting Mr. Director

Sun Dahl: ……

Sun Mi: Team-leader, Mr. Kim, I understand enough…I understand your intention…do not worry about anything.

Sun Dahl: No, not that, Miss Sun Mi…I meant to give you a different intention…

Sun Mi: (she looks at Sun Dahl)

Sun Dahl: (he looks serious, more than any other time) I tried to think of one person who could comfort Director Yun’s broken heart…somehow my mind thought of Miss Jin Sun Mi. I don’t know about any other person…but Miss Sun Mi’s words…Director Yun…can hear…and listen…

SECRETARY’S ROOM

Sun Mi does not quite understand Sun Dahl’s real intention and words, what was the meaning of his last words…she is very confused.
Sun Mi hadn’t noticed the clock…it was time to leave her office…all afternoon, Hyun Chul had not left his office…Sun Mi thinks to herself that she can’t leave Hyun Chul like this…Sun Mi doesn’t know what to do...she sits in her seat as time unknowingly passes hour by hour.
Sun Mi did not feel right…so she gets up from her seat and walks toward Hyun Chul’s office, but again she hesitates…she slowly turns around and walks away

BROADCASTING STATION LOBBY

Sun Mi slowly walks…she helplessly walks toward the front lobby, her steps barely come off the floor…suddenly she remembers Sun Dahl’s words “it is a curcial stage, Director Yun needs to handle well…if he doesn’t”
For a moment, Sun Mi thinks that she can’t leave Hyun Chul alone…Sun Mi’s heart is deep in thought…Sun Mi’s heart becomes pressing…she runs quickly back to her office.

DIRECTOR’S ROOM

Sun Mi doesn’t even knock on Hyun Chul’s door…she steps quietly into his office…there is very little light in the room…Hyun Chul’s office looks deserted wrapped in darkness…in the corner, Sun Mi can see Hyun Chul sitting with a deep piercing look out of the window…Sun Mi’s emotions quickly rise, she barely calms her emotions.

Sun Mi: Mr. Di… (The sight of Hyun Chul’s back…he looks confused, he looked like he needed someone to comfort him, but on the other side he still looked like he didn’t want anyone to disturb him…he looked very stubborn…Sun Mi thought about how she ran to come here to help him but her nervousness made her hesitate…she put her head down)

Hyun Chul: ……I am sorry Miss Sun Mi. I didn’t mean to yell at you.

Sun Mi: (she slowly lifts her head, she looks at Hyun Chul’s back)

Hyun Chul: I must look really ridiculous right now…I know everyone is sneering at me.

Sun Mi: (she says strongly) No, you do not Mr. Director. You do not look ridiculous and nobody should sneer at you!!!!

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi’s words make Hyun Chul hesitate a little, then he slowly turns around in his chair)

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi’s eyes are already becoming teary, she stares at Hyun Chul’s faint look through the darkness)

Hyun Chul: (he gets up from his seat, one step at a time he walks towards Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (as Hyun Chul walks up to Sun Mi, Sun Mi’s heart begins to tremble…she does not know where to look…she flusters and then tries to turn on the light)

Hyun Chul: No, leave it as is!! (He is very close to Sun Mi and stands in front of her)

Sun Mi: (she puts her head down, she thinks that she is lucky that the whole room is dark so that Hyun Chul can’t see how her face is turning red)

Hyun Chul: (he watches as Sun Mi softly puts her eyes down, he looks at her for a while) you must be very disappointed and angry.

Sun Mi: ……

Hyun Chul: Please forgive me, Miss Sun Mi.

Sun Mi: ……No, Mr. Director…I am…I am not angry with you.

Hyun Chul: Look at me when you talk…look straight into my eyes…and say it again.

Sun Mi: (she raises her trembling eyes, but barely looks into Hyun Chul’s eyes)…I am not angry with you, Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: (he holds onto the faint light, Sun Mi’s look becomes more pretty, Hyun Chul looks at Sun Mi and feels like he has lost his soul)

Sun MI: (she can’t possibly look straight into Hyun Chul’s eyes any more, she puts her head down)

Hyun Chul: (he quietly whispers to Sun Mi) Miss Jin Sun Mi, this evening you can become my friend (Hyun Chul sticks his hand toward Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she is confused) Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: (he has earnest eyes) why…you…can’t…

Sun Mi: (after a little hesitation, she softly gives her hand to Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: (Softly Sun Mi’s hand is placed over his, they hold tightly) now, I am going to be fine.


SIN CHON

It is a sultry sticky summer night…
During this hot weather…there is one night when the heated atmosphere lets one to blow away from youthfulness…here and there the street are full…inside many places surge with crowds of people…Hyun Chul takes off his jacket and puts it over his shoulder…next to Hyun Chul Sun Mi holds onto her handbag…they quietly walk

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi passes by a crowd of people…every time she runs into a crowd of people she little by little falls back)

Hyun Chul: (He walks a head of Sun Mi then turns around to look at her…but he can’t see Sun Mi anywhere…he looks all around for her…he sees that she is far away struggling to get through the crowd…Hyun Chul takes long steps to get near Sun Mi…he holds Sun Mi’s hand tightly and guides her through the crowd)

Sun Mi: (she is surprised by Hyun Chul, she turns around to look at him…under the circumstances she thought this was the best way for to get through the crowd)

Hyun Chul and Sun Mi walk into a narrow side street where there are fewer people

Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul continues to hold Sun Mi’s hand tightly) before I went abroad to study I came to this place everyday.

Sun Mi: Ah…really…
Hyun Chul: (Hyun Chul’s eyes focus on someplace) there is my hideout headquarters.

Sun Mi: (she follows Hyun Chul’s eyes, then she sees the sign “Woodstock Rock Café”, Sun Mi remembers coming to this place a couple of times with friends out of curiosity…Sun Mi thinks about the picture of Hyun Chul playing the bass guitar…Sun Mi thinks that Hyun Chul needed a release from his stress, this place was better then anything else…) lets go inside, Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: Are you talking about there (Hyun Chul looks at Sun Mi unexpectedly) that is a terribly noisy place…that place is not suitable for Miss Jin Sin Mi.

Sun Mi: (she smiles softly) well, lets see. Mr. Director, do you not want to go in?

Hyun Chul: (gradually smiling) lets go!!

Affectionately they tightly hold each others hand and go inside the café

WOODSTOCK

Their ears become full and ringing from the sound of the music in the café, the music made them absentminded…but inside this small café there is a freedom…the young people are excited and stimulated…Hyun Chul becomes submerged in the memory of old days, he waves his hands

Sun Mi: (Hyun Chul looked like he forgot his problems, he began to look cheerful, this made Sun Mi heart feel happy, she gazes at Hyun Chul’s fresh look)

Hyun Chul: (he suddenly shrinks back…he looks at Sun Mi and smiles brightly)

Sun Mi: (Sun Mi gives him a large smile)

Hyun Chul: (the loud music makes conversation impossible…Hyun Chul tries to get closer to Sun Mi) Miss Jin Sun Mi!!!

Sun Mi: (moving closer to Hyun Chul) Yes, Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: Are you alright? I look like I’m the only one enjoying myself.

Sun Mi: Don’t worry Mr. Director…I am enjoying whatever I can.

Suddenly, the music changes to a sad slow rock ballad. Music for pair dancing where couples can embrace.

Hyun Chul: (He looks encouraged by the stage people, like he has waited a long time…he sticks out his hand to Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she is embarrassed, she looks at Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: (he gazes at Sun Mi and waits for her)

A moment later, Sun Mi fingertips barely touch Hyun Chul’s hand. He holds Sun Mi’s hand tightly…then he get up from his seat.
They stand close to each other in a very unfamiliar way. Hyun Chul is wrapped in Sun Mi’s embrace…Sun Mi softly holds onto Hyun Chul’s dress shirt collar.
The vibration of the music make Hyun Chul and Sun Mi’s heart touch each other. Their hearts beat excitedly and tremble.
Hyun Chul is intoxicated by the music and the atmosphere that gives him the courage to embrace Sun Mi by the waist tighty. He wraps Sun Mi in his arms…Sun Mi comfortably leans into Hyun Chul’s chest…she gently wraps her hands tenderly on Hyun Chul’s shoulders. Hyun Chul and Sun Mi naturally move toward each other…little by little they get closer to each other.

A STREET

In the cool heated atmosphere…Sun Mi and Hyun Chul sit on a bench side by side…it is not hot weather that has made their cheeks red but the tingling experience they had a moment ago

Hyun Chul: Thank you Miss Jin Sun Mi…you have become my good friend.

Sun Mi: ……

Hyun Chul: Without Miss Sun Mi…maybe tonight I…would have locked myself in my room…and wouldn’t have been able to move a step.

Sun Mi: Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: Now my appearance is like nobody has told me what to do. I made the decisions at work by myself. The mistakes at work make me afraid that some one will criticize me. So, in order not to face the criticism I intentionally showed my temper like a little boy.

Sun Mi: No, I do not think that way Mr. Director. You tried to make a hard decision for the sake of the broadcasting station…you just simply weren’t lucky…last time you told me that you were a step by step stage director, so sometimes you should taste failure, it is natural.

Hyun Chul: (He looks intently at Sun Mi and listens to her words)

Sun Mi: You know Mr. Director…truly…you are perfect in every aspect…and during this work situation I thought, “Ah, Mr. Director sometimes makes a mistake too. He has a human nature side”…that is the way I see it…also…it is no fun when everything you do is a success…to be promoted to a high position you need to know how to sometime suffer a setback…it helps like taking medicine.

Hyun Chul: (looks and listens like a good student…Hyun Chul looks tense)

Sun Mi: (in the meantime, since she suppressed her heart for so long she now opened everything) the important thing is to start now…learn from this problem…become a more mature broadcaster…or continue to scold yourself and waste valuable time…what is the intelligent thing to do Mr. Director…you know better then anyone.

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi acts like she is reprimanding Hyun Chul a little, she makes Hyun Chul quietly smile)

Sun Mi: (her continuing speech becomes more excited) as for the conflict between you and Supervisor Kim…in society, making an enemy is not the smartest thing to do…making an enemy does not make sense…arguing to win is not everything…the smart thing to do is to be sincere and respectful and make him join your side…doing this will make you a true winner. That is high player!!

Hyun Chul: (Sun Mi looks more perfect and lovable) Are you done reprimanding me yet? Do I have to wait for more?

Sun Mi: Huh?? (her eyes become big)

Hyun Chul: (controls his laugh) I will keep Miss Jin Sun Mi’s words deep in my heart.

Sun Mi: (she thinks about what she has said, she is ashamed of herself, she lightly scowls at her forehead)

Hyun Chul: we are friends Miss Jin Sun Mi, right?

Sun Mi: (she looks at Hyun Chul with surprised eyes)

Hyun Chul: Outside the station we are friends…so in the future…if my behavior is not wise then you must give me advice like you are doing now…

Sun Mi: Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: What…you don’t want to??

Sun Mi: I am very sorry Mr. Director for my behavior a little while ago…
Hyun Chul: Please hurry and answer my question, do you not want to be my friend (he lookd at Sun Mi’s face obviously…and smiles)

Sun Mi: (confused) well…

Hyun Chul: No!?!?

Sun Mi: (waves her head) no, not that Mr. Director!!!

Hyun Chul: (gently smiles) then for now on we are friends (playful eyes) between friends then sometimes I can call you out and talk about problems…we can go out and drink together…right?

Sun Mi: (she nods her head)

Hyun Chul: Let’s shake hands on it…in the honor of friendship.

A moment later they quietly take a hold of each other hand. Truly, they don’t need friendship…but they both are not in a hurry to change things.

CONFERENCE ROOM

A series of unpleasant events have made everyone disheartened, they look sullen as the wait for Hyun Chul.
At that time the door opens powerfully as Hyun Chul enter the conference room. Despite everyone’s expectations, Hyun Chul looks the same as before- full of self-confidence and positive.
Everyone is confused…everyone turns to look at each other.

Hyun Chul: (he takes a seat, and looks around at the staff) During this whole time it has not been my intention to cause trouble…I apologize to everyone…if I were you…it would be hard for me to trust and follow a boss like me…

(everyone looks serious, the silently listen to Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: I can’t guarantee that in the future there will not be moments that turn out like this time, everything is trial and error. But one thing I can promise, I promise that despite success or failure…in the future I will always be with all of you…we will share decisions…two months ago, I made the mistake of deciding to send announcer Lee Young Woo to the provinces…tomorrow I am going to bring him back to the main office.

(the people start to become noisy)

Hyun Chul: (his eyes show strong resignation) In the meantime… I thought very little about the standard of the audience…I made the surface of the program look magnificent…but it did not attract the already lost audience as I had hoped…I don’t fully understand the audience yet…but, I don’t think it is too late yet…I don’t know when the end will come…the road ahead of us is probably going to be a hard one but I am willing to go down that road.

(Hyun Chul sincerity and plan has made those that who had disbelief toward Hyun Chul for quite some time have a change of heart about Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: Also…to proceed down this road I will need all of your support…I know that currently a lot of people do not trust me…but let us let these feelings go here in this place…let all of us start over here, again!

Young Mi is impressed by Hyun Chul’s speech…Young Mi tries to squeeze out tears…Woo Jin, sitting next to Young Mi, looks uninterested…Ju Hee who had criticized Hyun Chul unfavorably more than any one else before has now realized that she had misunderstood him…Ju Hee smiles softly…
However, at this moment , as expected, Sun Dahl has a gratified look- more than anybody else…he thought that Sun Mi made Hyun Chul’s different look possible…Sun Dahl can’t let this thought go…he has a smile at the corner of his mouth.

SECRETARY ROOM

Before Hyun Chul attended the meeting, he left an email with a P.S. for Sun Mi, she has already read it many times…a smile softly spreads on her face.

“P.S. Yesterday…in one day I was in hell and heaven…it was very much a special day. And then…in the middle of being in hell…you lead me into heaven, and you gladly accepted to be my friend…Miss Jin Sun Mi has made yesterday more unforgettable, thank you very much!!! I guarantee Miss Jin Sun Mi that in my life you have become my best secretary and friend…and, also…I would like to properly invite you to lunch today…will you accept? Today, nobody will be able to disturb our dinner…”

Sun Mi feels the quiet sound of her heart that beats with joy and sadness…she quietly swallows her tears…Sun Mi tries to put on a bright smile and quickly closes the letter from Hyun Chul…she starts to arrange the papers on her desk.

CHAIRMAN YUN’S ROOM

Chairman Yun looks intensely cold…in front of Chairman Yun quietly sits Hyun Chul and Supervisor Kim…for a moment Chairman Yun looked like he was getting ready to scream madly…

Chairman Yun: Director Yun and Supervisor Kim…what do the two of you think were the factors that caused this situation? First, let me listen to Supervisor Kim’s suggestions…

Supervisor Kim: A broadcasting station is different than any other type of company…the measure of success is not based on how much money you invest into it…the company benefits through common logic…without establishing a foundation, an order was put in to reform the external look of the broadcast…(he looks at Hyun Chul once)…in the end he just had a insufficient amount of experience that resulted in causing this situation.

Hyun Chul: (during Supervisor Kim’s continuing speech, the corner of his mouth starts to twitch in anger…but he remembers Sun Mi’s advice last night and calms his heart…”make your enemies join your side”)

Chairman Yun: (he has occasionally heard about the discord between these two people, he confirms these rumors himself, he closes his mouth hard and becomes clouded with anger) Next!! Let me hear Director Yun’s view.

Hyun Chul: (he tries to clear the inside of his head) In regards to this matter I agree with Supervisor Kim’s views…the cause of this situation is because of my inexperience…I ignored examining all levels and chose the easy and fast road…I thought about the simplest and quickest way…I wanted to make the program a success in a short amount of time…my insufficient patience made everyone object…I put the blame of cause on myself…

Supervisor Kim: (Supervisor Kim did not expect the response Hyun Chul made, he looks very confused, he coughs clearing his throat a couple of times)

Chairman Yun: (he wants to firmly scold Hyun Chul, but he slowly lets his anger go, he is impressed by Hyun Chul’s deep thought and maturity, Chairman Yun feels relieved)

Sun Dahl: (with a bashful look he scratches his head)

Chairman Yun: (with a comforting smile) I called you because I want to ask you a couple of questions about Hyun Chul’s situation.

Sun Dahl: Yes…Sir, go ahead and ask.

Chairman Yun: He is my son…but I try hard to see Hyun Chul objectively…in the future he will become a man of big ability, but his personality is too temperamental and straight…he still needs to go across many steep mountains to become a man of ability…so, I always worry about him

Sun Dahl: (he has a serious look)

Chairman Yun: However, about yesterday’s meeting…HAHAHA…I saw…his new side…new attitude…truly, I heard that Hyun Chul and Supervisor Kim usually shout at each other as they come and go…I was very prepared to teach Hyun Chul a stiff lesson…but Hyun Chul was the first to admit…he made a mistake and he came with his head hung down.

Sun Dahl: (he already knew about Hyun Chul’s new attitude, he thinks about Hyun Chul and smiles)

Sun Dahl: Well…actually…(he tries to be careful disclosing what he knew about Hyun Chul and Sun Mi to Chairman Yun)

Chairman Yun: (while listening to Sun Dahl’s words, a faint smile suddenly spreads to his whole face) HA HA HA…he has finally met his companion for life…he has met the right companion.

(he continues to laugh, even Sun Dahl follows Chairman Yun and laughs in a good mood)

SECRETARY ROOM

Chairman Yun refuses to follow his secretary and by himself go towards the secretary room to meet Sun Mi. He knocks on the secretary room door, then he enter the room.

Sun Mi: (she stops working and lifts her head and sees Chairman Yun, she leaps to her feet…she walks forward to meet Chairman Yun…she bows) How are you Mr. Chairman?

Chairman Yun: Umm…(he nods his head and receives Sun Mi’s greeting, he takes a good look at Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: Mr. Director…is out of the office at the moment, he will be back soon.

Chairman Yun: Oh…he is…(Chairman Yun looks at Sun Mi up and down from head to foot, then he has a pleased look)

Sun Mi: (she looks very tense, she hangs her head down)

Chairman Yun: Miss…what is your name?

Sun Mi: Yes Sir, my name is Jin Sun Mi.

Chairman Yun: (Um…Jin Sun Mi…Chairman Yun repeats Sun Mi names to his heart)…well Miss Sun Mi…take care…(he turns to leave)

Sun Mi: (she quickly goes towards the door, and opens the door for Chairman Yun)

Chairman Yun: (he has a satisfied smile on his face, and once more looks intently at Sun Mi, then leaves the office)

Sun Mi: (she follows Chairman Yun, and bows politely. She then watches as Chairman Yun becomes distant…only after then can she feel like she can become less tense)

CHAIRMAN YUN HOUSE, LIVING ROOM

For some time…Chairman Yun continues laughing…Mrs. Lee looks at him suspiciously.

Mrs. Lee: Did you eat something wrong? What are you so glad about since this early evening… why are going HA HA HA HA?

Chairman Yun: (he thought about Hyun Chul and Sun Mi…this made him automatically laugh…also during the day he saw Sun Mi and was very satisfied)

Mrs. Lee: Good Heaven!! Don’t laugh by yourself…let me laugh too…Honey!!!

Chairman Yun: Oh dear! You scare me,

Mrs. Lee: (she looks disapprovingly out of the corner of her eyes at Chairman Yun)

Chairman Yun: All right…All right…I will tell you…it is about Hyun Chul.

Mrs. Lee: What about Hyun Chul…what did Hyun Chul do a cute trick in front of you.

Chairman Yun: Cute trick…yes…I can say…it can be called a cute trick.

Mrs. Lee: Ah???

Chairman Yun: HA HA…Hyun Chul amazes me…he has very close to him buried treasure.

Mrs. Lee: (gradually she gives him a confused look)

Mrs. Lee: Even I thought Miss Sun Mi’s first impression was very good…she has a pleasant personality and her wide bright smile makes everyone feel good…she shows an intellectual atmosphere…she is a heavenly woman…when I met her my feelings became obscure…I thought that it would be nice to have her as my daughter-in-law…I guess we are going to have this kind of connection…

Chairman Yun: (he thinks about Sun Mi’s look…and he is complete agreement with Mrs. Lee)

Mrs. Lee: Well…a monk can’t cut his own hair…so, I am going to meet with Miss Sun Mi…

Chairman Yun: Heavens!! Don’t even think about it…young people know what they are doing…we are not going to get involved…we are going to watch over them silently…

Je Yun: Hello, how are you…this is Kim Je Yun, may I speak to Mr. Director,

Sun Mi: (Kim Je Yun!!! In the past, she tried hard to forget that name…. Sun Mi remembers her and Sun Mi’s past emotions come back to her) Mr. Director is now…

(at that moment the door flies open and Hyun Chul enters the office)

Sun Mi: (Hyun Chul’s timing made Sun Mi feel useless and hate Hyun Chul) Just a moment, I am going to connect you to Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: (he must have heard Sun Mi’s conversation) Phone??? (he hurries and enters his office)

Sun Mi: (she gets a hard look on her face, and drops her eyes)

DIRECTOR ROOM

Hyun Chul: Oh, Je Yun…

Je Yun: I am getting ready to go to the airport…brother, can you come to the airport too…

Hyun Chul: Of course I am going…how long has it been since I saw my own brother, after all he is coming home…(he looks at his watch) I should get ready to leave now.

Je Yun: You probably should…make time for traffic…see you at the airport, brother.

Hyun Chul: Okay (he hangs up the phone, he looks very happy, he quickly arranged his desk and roughly sticks documents into his briefcase, then he gets up from his seat)

SECRETARY ROOM

Sun Mi: (she continues to feel unpleasant)

(Sun Mi can see Hyun Chul finish working and leaving his office…he looks like he is feeling very good)

Hyun Chul: Miss Jin Sun Mi, today I have tend to some business…I am going to leave early…

Sun Mi: (she gets up from her seat and drops her eyes) Bye, Mr. Director, see you tomorrow.

Hyun Chul: Today…(he looks as if he is going to talk about Min Chul…but he does not have time) I will talk to you next time, see you tomorrow.

(In the present time…Sun Mi is able to see Hyun Chul’s heart…he leaves quickly…Sun Mi’s heart becomes full of clouds…she helplessly sits down)

(“Je Yun” from her one phone call made Hyun Chul become so happy and caused him to leave his office earlier then he was supposed to in a great hurry…Hyun Chul’s look made Sun Mi feel very miserable)

IN CHIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Je Yun: (she sees Min Chul appear far away pulling his suitcase) Min Chul!!!

(they run and all at once embrace each other…they have been long time lovers…they do not care about the attention from everyone around them…they kiss each other tightly)

Hyun Chul: (he looks at Min Chul and Je Yun…then he becomes a little embarrassed…he turns his head and smiles…he wonders why at this moment he thought about Sun Mi…)

(After that…Min Chul and Je Yun barely wake up…they come toward Hyun Chul…Min Chul opens his arms and higs his brother…Hyun Chul and Min Chul are good brothers…with delighted smiles and strength they hold each other)

Hyun Chul: (keep patting Min Chul’s back) Hi, long time no see. Welcome home.

Min Chul: (whispers into Hyun Chul’s ear) You know during the whole flight I have been wondering about one thing more than anything else…don’t even think that you are going to sleep tonight…

Hyun Chul: Oh boy…(he smiles)

Min Chul: (removes his arms from Hyun Chul) Well…then lets go home…if mother has to wait very long her neck will sink down.

Hyun Chul: Of course…today…father and I had the worst time stopping mother from coming to the airport…if we didn’t stop her she would have already held onto you and started crying out all over the airport.
SUN MI HOUSE, FRONT

Sun Mi hangs her shoulders down, she walks helplessly home, she reaches close to home…she can’t possible look at her father with a bright face…she think about Hyun Chul’s happy look…suddenly she quickly begins to cry…she can’t appease her heart…she doesn’t know how to stop…her hand covers her mouth…she tries hard to clam herself…but suddenly her emotions become much more intense and tears flood down her face…slowly she squats down and sits on the ground…she gathers her knees together and buries her face…and without a sound she sobs hard)

SUN MI HOUSE, INSIDE

Sun Mi: (she enters the house, she makes an effort to use a bright voice) I’m home!!

Gyu Sung: Oh, you’re home.

(Gyu Sung looks at Sun Mi’s face, her eye make-up is messed up, here and there are traces of tears)

Sun Mi: I am sorry daddy…I came home late without calling…suddenly…a friend came to see me at the TV station and asked me to go to dinner.

Gyu Sung: (a pain comes to his heart, Gyu Sung acts like he doesn’t know anything) Oh, you did. I did not know…I was worried about you. Hurry, come in and clean yourself and rest…you must be very tired.

Sun Mi: (forces a smile) really…I am a little tired…I am going to rest today…tomorrow I will talk to you.

Gyu Sung: Well…go upstairs quickly and lie down (Gyu Sung looked at Sun Mi as she went upstairs, tears came to his eyes)

Sun Mi: (once again tears quickly come to her eyes, she does not want to be discovered by her father so she quickly runs up the stairs)

CHAIRMAN YUN HOUSE, HYUN CHUL ROOM

Hyun Chul: You are not sleepy? You are not tired? You are truly strong?

Min Chul: (he is sleepy, his eyes are slightly closed) so…tell me everything…hurry up…when, where, how did you meet her…if you don’t tell me then tonight you can not sleep at all…okay!

Hyun Chul: (he looks as if he lost a battle, he smiles) Well…actually…we are not a couple…we are just friends…

Min Chul: (he opens his eyes widely) Friend??

Hyun Chul: Ummm…

Min Chul: (he makes a pitiful look) So…you haven’t confesses your heart to her…good heavens, is that it?

Hyun Chul: Um…(he makes a pillow of his arm and lies down)…soon I am going to tell her…truly…these days…I am trying to make an effort to find the opportunity…

Min Chul: What about opportunity…that kind of situation…just do it unconsciously (he lies next to Hyun Chul) by the way…does she like you too?

Hyun Chul: Well…I do not know.

Min Chul: What is this…truly you are driving me crazy…after all you told me…and during all this time…you have not developed anything at all.

Hyun Chul: (he thinks about Sun Mi and quietly smiles)

Hyun Chul: (he can’t take it anymore, Hyun Chul pushes Min Chul onto the floor)

(push and pull…Min Chul and Hyun Chul act like two naughty boys…together they fall to the floor…they rollover this way and that way, then they get into a pillow fight…all over the room there is the sound of laughter and loud banging…they become very noisy)

Mrs. Lee: Are you making enough noise!! Be quiet!! In the middle of the night, you two would like to be packing your bags!!!!!

(there is a loud laughter, then it becomes silent)

Min Chul: Brother!! Truly if you love her…hold onto her quick…don’t try too much thinking about and dragging the situation out…that is not good…just run into it.

Hyun Chul: Just run into it…okay I understand…

DIRECTOR ROOM

Hyun Chul: (pushes down the interoffice phone) Come in please (a moment later Sun Mi enters the room)

Sun Mi: You called me Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: This evening…if you have time…I would like to have dinner with you…

Sun Mi: (she has a hard look) at any cost…I have to go to dinner…

Hyun Chul: Huh???

Sun Mi: …

Hyun Chul: (he becomes confused) Of course not…if you don’t wish to then you don’t have to go to dinner…you can turn me down at anytime…I just want to invite you to dinner…Miss Jin Sun Mi as my friend

Sun Mi: (she tightly holds her trembling hands, she doesn’t want to drag it on anymore) Mr. Director…you have a many friends…and you have many special days you can spend with those friends…by the way…why do want to be together with me…I don’t understand…why do you need this kind of time…

Hyun Chul: (with an extremely hard look) if you do not want to go then just say you don’t want to go…this is not like Miss Jin Sun Mi

Sun Mi: What is not like me!!! Do my feeling not matter…should they be dragged as Mr. Director wishes…is that more like me?

Hyun Chul: (he was angry…he slammed the door as he left his office)

:hehe kt gue sih yg di WG ini msh bagus, klo liat di FB perasaan lebih prah lagi. Cuma...emang itu kali ya magicnya AAE, gak bosen buat dibahas,s emakin dibahas malah jd pengen nonton ulang.
btw racun aae g blum berhenti . kemarin ada 2 org yg g pinjemin vcd aae dan guess what...langsung demen abis (pdhal tdnya pemuja setia EL tuh :hehe). Pdhal sih gak ada niat racunin kl ini, mrk doang yg iseng pengen nyri vcd, dan kebetulan g cm ada 2 itu.
g jg plg suka maen di WG sih, simple reason aja, krn WG plg cepet :D

Sun Mi: (since the other day, Hyun Chul and Sun Mi have not even looked at each other…Hyun Chul has become endlessly cold…Sun Mi wants to talk to Hyun Chul but finds it very difficult)…Mr. Director

Hyun Chul: (he remains unchanged, his head still looks down at the papers on his desk…he does not even answer Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she gives up trying get his attention) The planning department…sent you account statements yesterday…they asked me to look into whether…Mr. Director has finished approving them…they need them urgently.

Hyun Chul: (he picks up any file in front of him…then snappily throws the file at Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she opens the statement to confirm whether or not the file is the one she is looking for)…this is different from the one I am looking for Mr. Director.

Hyun Chul: (he acts like he is getting annoyed by Sun Mi and talks toughly to her) well, then Miss Jin Sun Mi try to look for the statement.

Sun Mi: (she feels a little resentment toward Hyun Chul…she looks at Hyun Chul and then at the side of his desk where there is a pile of documents…Sun Mi starts to look through them one by one)

Hyun Chul: (one by one Sun Mi’s action and gesture make Hyun Chul’s mind and heart turn toward Sun Mi…his eyes look at the paper in front of him but his mind is thinking about Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she looks through the pile, the document she is looking for must be at the bottom but she cannot find it, as she searches she begins to feel herself start to sweat)

Hyun Chul: (he closes the file he has been working on…then he notices that at the top of the file is written “Planning Department Account”) Oh, dear!!! I didn’t even know that the whole time I was looking at the Planning Department statement…well…there are too many statements…

Sun Mi: (she becomes angered…but she firmly tries to be patient) Are you finished with the statement?

Hyun Chul: Yes, take it to the head of the Planning Department, Mr. Kim. (He throws the file onto the corner of his desk)

Sun Mi: (silently she picks up the file and turns to leave the office)

Hyun Chul: (leans against the back of his chair…he feels angry at himself and Sun Mi)

SECRETARY’S ROOM

Sun Mi: (falls into her chair in agony…for a long time she is locked in her thoughts…then slowly she picks up the phone)…Senior…it is Sun Mi…

Ueun Mi: (she sounds very glad to hear from Sun Mi) Oh! Sun Mi, how are you? You are doing well?

Sun Mi: Yes, Senior. How about you, are you doing well too? I apologize for making excuses about being busy and not calling more often…

Ju Hee: (she beats her chopsticks down into her bowl of rice, then silently talks to Sun Dahl through the expression in her eyes)


Sun Dahl: (he becomes aware of what Ju Hee is saying, quietly he waves his head) Anyhow…Mr. Director…this morning…after finishing “Mornings with Eve” the whole staff talked about having a staff basketball game…the schedule seems good for sometime this weekend

Hyun Chul: (only then did Hyun Chul raise his head) Oh really…

Sun Dahl: How should I proceed?

Hyun Chul: Team Leader Kim, go ahead and make the plans yourself (unintentionally his eyes look toward Sun Mi)

Sun Mi: (she raises her head…her eyes meet Hyun Chul’s eyes…she quickly turns her head away from Hyun Chul)

Hyun Chul: (drops his head with a hard look on his face and again starts to eat his meal)

HALLWAY

Sun Dahl: (he hesitates) you are having some problem with Miss Jin Sun Mi…did you scold her?

(Somehow …today’s game has turned into an impassioned contest between Hyun Chul and Woo Jin…they turn to walk toward their teams…at the same time they gaze at Sun Mi…
On the other hand…every woman is preparing the snacks and ordering the drinks…after that, they line up along the side of the basketball court and take their seats)

Young Mi: (she tries to look serious) What should I do…if I cheer for the blue team then Mr. Kim Woo Jin will be truly disappointed in me…but if I cheer for the white team then Mr. Director will become very disappointed in me…

Ju Hee: (she looks at Young Mi in amazement…then she smiles)

Shortly after exchanging infringements on their baskets, they are covered in sweat and breathing heavily…

(In the air the ball drifts…Hyun Chul and Woo Jin try to jump and catch the ball…they end up running against each other’s shoulders…they collapse down onto the floor together)

Sun Mi: (does not know what she is doing…leaps to her feet…she looks like she does not know what to do)

Ju Hee: (she looks at Sun Mi from the side and tries to look at where she is looking…for an instant Ju Hee gets a strange curious feeling…)

(Fortunately, Hyun Chul and Woo Jin have not been hurt…they get up from the floor)

Sun Mi: (she still bares a grudge against Hyun Chul, she says in a low voice) He should be more careful…

Ju Hee: (Ju Hee did not miss Sun Mi’s words…she thinks to herself that obviously Sun Mi likes one of the two men who fell to the ground…but she was not sure which one Sun Mi liked…Ju Hee decides to watch Sun Mi a little longer…soon she figures out who he is…

Ju Hee looks at Sun Mi with a sharp expression…Woo Jin successfully puts the ball in the basket…without any reason Sun Mi looks disinterested…but when Hyun Chul made a basket Sun Mi look brightened…

”Jin Sun Mi…today you truly can’t control your expression…it was Mr. Director…you love…Director Yun… you fool…why didn’t you tell me earlier…that is why you look like so hard…now I understand your heart a little”…

She quietly holds Sun Mi’s hand)

Sun Mi: (she looks at Ju Hee)

Ju Hee: (gives Sun Mi a warm smile)

Sun Mi: (she gives Ju Hee a bright smile in return)

(Half-time, the game is at a tie…everyone is very exhausted…every man is breathing hard as they walk from the basketball court…every where faces and bodies are covered in sweat)

Sun Mi: (she looks at Hyun Chul, he has a hard look on his face, she hesitates)

Ju Hee: (taps Sun Mi) what are you doing? Mr. Director looks very hard…take him something to drink (she hands Sun Mi a drink)


Sun Mi: (she hesitates a moment… then …she takes a drink from Je Hee and goes near to Hyun Chul)

Young Mi: (she moves in front of Sun Mi and runs to Hyun Chul) Mr. Director…do you want a drink?

Young Mi: Mr. Director, is there anything you can’t do…a moment ago you looked wonderful…

Hyun Chul: (he tries to put on a faint smile) Oh, I did…

Sun Mi: (she looks at Hyun Chul and Young Mi, she looks bitter)

Woo Jin: (he came up close to Sun Mi, he pointed at the drink Sun Mi was holding) that drink…is that for me?

Hyun Chul: (he turned his head in a flash and gazes at them steadily)

Sun Mi: Huh? Yes, go ahead and take this drink (she passed the drink to him) you played very hard…you are doing a very good job…

Woo Jin: (he began to feel good) oh, it was? Actually…I was thinking about Miss Sun Mi watching me…it makes me more eager to jump…

Hyun Chul: (his look becomes wrinkled…he grabs the drink can over by Young Mi…he roughly and carelessly opens the can top…here and there his drink sprays…even onto Hyun Chul’s face…he sits down on the floor…and drinks his drink)

Due to Sun Mi giving Woo Jin a drink…he began to jump more in the air…Hyun Chul maliciously got entangled with Woo Jin as much as possible…Hyun Chul frequently misfired the ball to the basket…gradually Hyun Chul became angered and annoyed…his bodily strength was becoming run down…his attitude was slowly becoming uneasy…he began to mark Woo Jin…

There was a little breaking of the rules…there was taking away of the ball…Hyun Chul went toward the goal powerfully…and when he was exactly in front of the goal zone…Hyun Chul went in with a lay-up…Woo Jin was already standing firmly in front of Hyun Chul…Hyun Chul crashes into Woo Jin’s chest…with a short scream Hyun Chul falls to the floor…

In a second, Sun Mi rises to action…she jumps to her feet…she sees Hyun Chul laying on the floor looking like he is in a lot of pain…Sun Mi’s face becomes hard and white as snow…

Hyun Chul is surrounded by a crowd of people…they take a good look at him- this way and that way…they all try to assist Hyun Chul…fortunately he only sprained his ankle…it was not a big injury…but it looked like it was impossible for him to continue the game…)

Woo Jin: (he began to feel sorry…he sticks his hand out to help Hyun Chul get up)

Hyun Chul: (he looks away from Woo Jin and gets up with the help of someone else…then he leaves the game grounds…)

gelang kaki? :haha kyknya itu mah salah satu adegan favorit smua AAE lover. :D Mknya g heran yg diinget ama $hy kok bukan adegan2 kyk gt, malah adegan2 gak penting kyk dufan ini sih ;D

adegan kissing eps terakhir keren tuh.. apalagi pas HCnya awalnya ragu buat ngelamar.. gile keren banget... kapan yah ada yg kayak gitu ama gue hahahaha

gue juga suka pas HC dikamar SM itu pas si Sm nya malu gara2 dia nyetel tipi eh ada rekaman HC buat dia.. terus.. gile banyak banget loh adegan favorit nya...

AAE emang keren.. konfliknya juga...

kalo gak salah dulu pernanh ngisi kali yah.. tapi gue mo nambah.. gue suka adegan pas JY ultah.. en dikasih kalung itu.. mau ding gue digituin hahahaha...
