Sebuah perusahaan technology yang baru di bentuk di Amerika, bernama "Infinium Labs Corporation". Hari ini mengumumkan mereka akan membuat sebuah console yang mereka nyatakan dapat mengalahkan PS2, Xbox dan Gamecube.
Produk atau console yang akan dikeluarkan ini diberikan nama Phantom. Console ini akan menjadi console pertama yang selalu broad band. Dimana mereka yakin console yang akan mereka sediakan akan menjadi gaming system yang selalu up to date.
Prototype dari console ini akan siap di release di bulan Maret, dan ini akan menjadi console pertama yang terdapat 2.4 Giga Hertz wireless controller (stick tanpa kabel), setir setiran wireless, dan juga joy stick wireless. Semua game game untuk mesin Phantom ini akan di distribusikan Online. Menurut Infium, mereka sudah mempersiapkan sebanyak 32,679 game retail dan 418 shareware. (Wow ?)

Infinium continue introducing the ‘Phantom’, claiming that there are currently 32,679 retail game titles available and 418 shareware game titles not including; adult, casino, sequels and new releases of the past 6 months. A lofty claim indeed. Moreover, all these titles will be distributed electronically.
The Phantom gaming Console is apparently the first to offer a bundled 2.4 GHz wireless controller along with the ability to add-on additional wireless controls, racing steering wheels, joysticks, keyboard and mouse.
