Itu lagu favorit gue di bulan Desember! :)

Entah kenapa kalo traditional carol ("Oh Come All Ye Faithful", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "Away in a Manger") gue lebih suka dengerinnya secara traditional yg solemn (gak genjreng-genjreng a la pop music), but kalo yg gak religious ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town", "Jingle Bell Rock", "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree") suka dengerin justru karena riang.

Ada banyak version cuman yg terkenal emang karya Gounod & Schubert.
Karya Gounod kayaknya diambil dari opera "Faust" karyanya yg dinyanyikan oleh Gretel di hadapan patung Maria Bunda Dukacita.
TVRI mah suka asal nyomot music yg dianggap cocok buat jadi background music. Lha pas Easter taun kapan malah pernah background musicnya "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" :p
