Kriteria irit:
1. Biaya operasi : konsumsi bensin
2. Biaya maintenance : tune up, ganti oli & penggantian spare part (fast moving)

untuk pemakaian sehari2 ato mobil kerja (kantor) ?

soalnya, kalo u/ mobil sehari2 emang lbh baek Hyundai Atoz, tp untuk kerja keras, suzuki Karimun jelas lebih unggul. Dan masih bisa di ajak "berenang" krn posisi distributor cukup tinggi.

untuk maintenance, keduanya bisa di bilang hampir sama dr segi biaya. Tapi, untuk ketersediaan spare part, hyundai mesti melakukan ordering part dr jakarta dan bisa nunggu berminggu2. Untuk suzuki masih bisa di tunggu beberapa hari. Tergantung jenis part dan kerusakan yg menimpa mobil tersebut.

Yesterday Maruti launched all new Estilo. If you are wondering why I dropped Zen from this car's name then let me explain. Estilo has got Wagon R's engine and chassis and Suzuki MR Wagon's shape. Whatever remains is taken from Zen, well does anything remain actually? Yes, Name! Name is taken from Zen, 'Zen Estilo'. In essence its stylish Wagon R, Japan's MR Wagon, combination of the two or anything but Zen. It seems Maruti wants to exploit Zen brand-image hence named this car after Zen.

Now obvious question might be "Whether this one is better than old Zen?" Well in most of the aspects, but still Zen Estilo might not satisfy those who have driven old Zen. Except for a couple of things, I find Zen Estilo a better car than old Zen. Due to a bit tall design Zen Estilo is not as good at maneuvering as old Zen. Old Zen was a fun at cornering which is apparently missing in this car.

Zen Estilo has the same engine (1061cc, 64.8ps, 84Nm, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, MPFI F10D Petrol) under the hood that is found in Maruti Wagon R. Absolutely nothing has been changed except for the fact that this engine is much refined and is slightly better at responsiveness and fuel economy. This simply translate into 'Zen Estilo is a bit faster and more fuel economic than Wagon R'. Due to highly good drivability, driving in city would be more fun with Zen Estilo. Electronic Power Steering (not available in LX version) really helps in crowded traffic. Owning and maintaining Zen Estilo won't be a problem, engine is proven reliable and virtually maintenance-proof.

The biggest difference I noticed was interiors of Zen Estilo. You can still accept this car as Zen from outside but you will not accept it from inside. The first note I made was while I was entering the car. Going in and out of Zen had never been this easy. This was the biggest reason people used to hate Zen (Yes, most of the people used to hate Zen and Esteem for just this reason!). If you have a Zen and are of an average built, getting inside your car is a project in itself, no? Thank god its not the case here, you find Wagon R effect here too. Wheelbase is 25mm larger (2360mm) than old Zen which is adequate but not very good, it could have still been a bit larger. Car is taller by approx. 200mm (1595mm) than old Zen and shorter by 65mm than Wagon R, a good move in terms of headroom. Space inside is enough and is utilized better. Dash-board gives contemporary feel, especially VXi version with dual-tone interiors. Seats are mounted high and are overall comfortable enough. Air-conditioning is simply fantastic.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and dual airbags for driver are provided as optional equipment in VXi variant. Keyless entry system, front/rear power-windows system, rear defogger are additional and necessary features in VXi. Alloy wheels, music system are missing.

Pricing is almost in Wagon R's range. Range starts at 3,26,865 (ex-showroom Mumbai) pretty close to Wagon R's starting i.e. 3,33,986 rupees, almost 7,000-8,000 rupees difference across range. This Zen is almost 15,000 cheaper than old Zen. So Zen Estilo can be considered placed between Alto and Wagon R. Whoever doesn't like Wagon R can go for Zen Estilo. My recommendation to prospective buyers is that you should not worry while making a decision in favour of Zen Estilo. Its quite capable, highly-economic, stylish, contemporary car which is going to give a tough competition to Santro Xing, Indica and even Wagon R.

Yah rata2 mobil2 kluaran SUZUKI emang enak2 kok naekannya, tp 1, spare partnya mahal booo, brsan ganti evaporator plus 2 pipa AC bocor....kena 2jt++

Lho pdhl yg gw denger spare part suzuki plg murah lho.. tp naikannya sih kurang. Apa khusus mobil tertentu yah yg kurang enak.. Gw dl pernah punya Sidekick, Katana n Baleno.
Sidekick sih ga enak bgt.. Kl standard goyang kanan kiri.. Bisa joged kl kena lobang :D

Katana dah ga usah ditanya deh.. Kalo yg naek cm 1 orang naikannya kacau.. Keras dah gitu ga bisa lari. Kalo nanjak berat abis.. Kata gw sih mobil plg parah

Baleno ini sih yg lumayan.. Nyaman, suspensi empuk, tarikannya agak lemot. Ada telatnya sepersekian detik. Itu pertama kalinya suzuki pake komputer jd kayanya blm sempurna. Trs pernya bunyi & hrs diganjel selang. Yg parah bodinya kaleng.. Kalo didorong bisa masuk2 gt.. Mungkin bisa penyok kl didorong kuat2.. :D

di SUZUKI yg mahal itu sparepart Aerio (generasi pertama dan kedua--dua2nya blom pake body kit), Escudo XL-7, sama Baleno kalo ga salah ::mikir::

nah Ton, kalo sidekick itu emang suspensi standar u/ kendaraan compact SUV. Jd cenderung soft, kalo lewat lobang, mobil2 karakter jip jgn terlalu pelan (agak cepetan dikit), krn di jamin penumpang ato driver bakal jumpalitan. krn tujuan melahap jalan jelek itu lah mobil2 SUV/jip suspensi nya di bikin kayak gitu.

Katana emang parah, tp yg patut di acungi jempol itu Jimun -- sebutan SUZUKI Jimny -- dia berbobot ringan, wheelbase lbh panjang sdikit, fully mechanical. Keunggulannya?? bisa nglewatin sungai yg agak dalam (dgn syarat jgn deras arusnya, bakal "kenter" tuh jimun). kedua, traksi dia lbh bagus dlm hal nanjak, hal ini udah di tes, jimun versus jip ato suv yg lbh gede menang. ketiga, smua operasional jimun masih mekanikal, lom ada yg elektrik, jd kl klelep air gpp :D cuman jimun ini lemahnya sama spt Katana.

1. mudah rontok di kolong spakbor krn bahan besinya tipis.
2. AC tidak mendukung jika kondisi matahari terik
3. suspensi tergolong keras.

Ton, itu baleno yg lu maksud baleno Next-G ato sbelumnya?

NO, you're not right. Vitara EPI (Oktober 1994-April1995) duluan pake ECU, untuk di Indo. Di kampung halamannya. sejak 1986 udah mulai pake ECU. Masuk di swift 1300cc kemudian 1988 di Swift GTi. Di Jepangnya sendiri Jimny 660EPI turbo (Produksi 1987) udah pake ECU.
Untuk Vitara EPI dengan nomor chassis MHDESE416RJ700xxx, produksi awal, bulan Oktober 1994, di kabarkan ada bug di dalam ECUnya. Namun kemudian di recall untuk di ganti atau di perbaiki. Namun untuk dengan nomor chassis MHDESE416SJ700xxx produksi sampai dengan 1995 udah enggak ada lagi bugnya. Untuk Vitara EPI di Indonesia, komputernya semua pake Mitsubishi Electric, dengan parts number 33920-59B090-GEN 5MT

Well, i prefer estilo's karimun, even it use 1,1/2 steel for the body :)

New atoz looks and size is just smaller than his brother... its aimed for light weight acceleration but no body's cares'bout it. :D
